I've finally gotten a fair selection of the Birdsall Metallics to offer. Offering here first so you can get up to 100 meter rolls in the colors available. On my website several colors are offered in 2.5mm, 3mm, 5mm and 6mm and I'm offering wholesale pricing on the 50 meter rolls of 5 and 6mm. Birdsall has finally gotten the metallic process down so I'll be getting more stock in the future.

AVAILABLE~42″ long 4 strand Kangaroo leather braided lead in Black, it features three clusters of gorgeous beads by Szivlia Narinen The lead has black hand tied knots at the snap and 4 1/2″ handle. It also contains 400 lb. dacron core for added strength and to keep the lead from stretching.

All of my leads are stretched, split, beveled, conditioned, rolled, and finished with a conditioner. I NEVER use spliced leather in any project that I made, never. Taking a little extra time doing these steps is necessary to give you a high-quality braid that will hold up for years!

SOLD~ ~42" long 4 strand Kangaroo leather lead in black leather. This lead features one cluster of dichroic artisan beads. The lead has black gaucho knots at the loop end flanking a single bead and 4 1/4" handle there is a black pineapple knot. It also contains 200 lb. dacron core for added strength and to keep the lead from stretching.

Finally we have a little sunshine here in Michigan and I was able to get a few better photos of the new Packer Gold and Silver. The first photo is of the old gold and silver on top and the new on bottom. If you look closely you can see the sparkle that it has.

I received a box of new and improved Packer silver & gold, plus a couple of the discontinued colors. I received both 3mm and 5mm in the silver and gold. Now here is the good news.... If they don't look quite as shiny as they used to you are correct, they have a little less shimmer. BUT what they do have is durability! Packer has reformulated how they were making the metallic leather and the new metallic not only feels great, it DOESN'T crack! Yes, you read that correctly, I've found that it does NOT crack even when tightened down for knot work.
Currently there is not enough to go around therefore, so I have set a limit of one piece per color in your order. They are only available on the website.

SOLD~ 36″ 4 strand Kangaroo braided leather lead in Fuchsia foil, rose gold and ox blood with one artisan made bead cluster. The lead has a 4 3/4″ handle and a loop end for attaching to the collar. This lead is braided with a 200lb dacron core.
All of my leads are stretched, split, beveled, conditioned, rolled, and finished with a conditioner. Taking a little extra time doing these steps is necessary to give you a high-quality braid that will hold up for years! When you get your new braided kangaroo lead, it should feel like butter in your hands.
