In my experience, jumping rope has been a very effective exercise for burning body fat. In addition, helping me strengthen my legs and glutes. It immediately increases the heart rate, burning 10 calories a minute on average. 5-10 minute intervals at the end of a workout or even 30 seconds in between sets is a great way to add intensity & improve muscular endurance...
But who knows π€·ββοΈ. You can watch someone else or try it yourself. Just giving options if the treadmill and elliptical get old...

By manipulating the tempo at which you perform an exercise, known as TUT (*time under tension), you can increase intensity and provide progressive overload without using heavier weights. The faster the speed, the lower βοΈ the muscle tension. Reduce your rep speed to a controlled tempo and you increase βοΈ the muscle tension. Developing muscle directly relates to muscle tension, the higher the tension, the more you grow! πͺ..
In the bicep curl video above, I am performing a 4 point tempo perscription of 4:2:1:0 as follows.
1. Eccentric - lowering the wieght - 4 seconds
2. Stretched - bottom position - 2 seconds
3. Concentric - raising the weight - 1 second
4. Contracted - top position - 0 seconds..
Now it's YOUR TURN. Apply this method and increase your *TUT during an exercise of today's workout and reap the rewards, enjoy! ..
