My sister went on vacation and stayed with some family friends. She asked me if I'd make a small thank you gift to give them for having her at their house and of course I was excited to make this fun little piece! I just so happened to have the perfect piece of wood that worked with the stencil and was light enough for her to tuck in her bag on the plane :)

A simple, but personal wedding gift!

I delivered this piece last weekend to a friend of mine who is getting married in a few days!! Her and her soon-to-be husband just got the keys to their condo and I'm so excited this will be hanging on the walls of their first home together. This is one of the larger pieces I've made and it was so fun to do! Congratulations I'm so happy for you both

I can't wait to deliver this gift to my friend for the wedding she is attending at the end of the month! I loved the color request she had on this one it was fun!!

Today's work- painting a boat!! This little boat was actually a gift for my dad for Father's Day and he wanted me to paint "Little Buddy Seal Rock, OR" in memory of my grandpa :) This will eventually have plants in it and be on the porch of their beach property in Oregon.

Wedding season is in full swing and I'm glad to be a part of it for some of my friends and family! Finished this gift today and am gearing up for quite a few more wedding-themed signs to come this month and next! Love is in the air

I'm learning new things with every design I take on! Today I figured out that I can write my own lettering and turn it into a stencil on my design program so I don't always have to rely on just the standard computer fonts. Now my pieces can be even more custom in the future which is very exciting! This was my first attempt - definitely looking in to courses on lettering so I can practice :)

Yesterday I delivered the finished wedding vows to my beautiful friend Amanda! I spent many hours with this piece and loved every second of it. Their wedding vows really touched me, and were especially sentimental because Amanda's dad officiated the wedding; how awesome is that! It was a privilege to take something so personal to this couple and turn it into something they can have to remember that day forever. Thank you :)

Mandy and her boyfriend celebrated their three year anniversary today and I am honored that she asked me to help celebrate! She wanted to surprise him with a gift that was personal to their relationship; I loved the phrase she chose! I will say it was so much fun to plan and work with her!! Congratulations I'm so glad I got to know you and be a part of such a fun surprise!

Today's office space; my front yard. Finishing up the beautiful wedding vows! This has been such a fun project and a technique learning experience for me. I've now gained a sense of how to perfect small lettering and style long passages such as this! I can't wait to see it 100 percent finished!

Stopped by and did a few information add-on's and final detail adjustments today for Johanna! Luckily I left enough space just in case she wanted to add anything :) Everything is waterproofed and ready for when the rain returns, but I don't see that happening any time soon!

New blog post today! This one showcases an outdoor sign I made from driftwood and carved the letters instead of painting them. I might be biased, but this is one of my very favorite signs because of my family story behind it. I hope you all enjoy and maybe get some ideas for your own friends and family :)

Took a little road trip to the Oregon Coast this weekend for a little relaxation, inspiration and of course some time to track down new, fun driftwood pieces!

Put a lot of hours in today, but Johanna's sign is all done! I can't wait to see it out on the sidewalk!

My friend Holli is amazing! This girl can honestly accomplish anything she puts her mind to, and over the past year I've seen her become an absolute fitness warrior! I had the pleasure of making a display board for her race numbers and medals; my first time ever making anything like that! I also took her personal mantra, "Kale and Cookies," and turned it into a bag for her. Both were incredibly fun projects for a very driven, wonderful friend.
