Revolution Doughnuts is a woman owned baking company with a passion for making classic American style treats the old fashioned way - by hand - from scratch. We are starting a doughnut revolution in the south - returning to a time when doughnuts were simple and tasty - made from scratch with real food ingredients - without all the pre-fab mixes, funky oils, preservatives, fillers, or stabilizers that the big doughnut chains use.
Lots of reasons to get up and celebrate the day - including this Banana Creme Pie(v) doughnut.
Pb Banana Fritter (v) is back - every Thursday and Friday in September!
Soft, pillowy yeast-raised round, rolled in caster sugar and filled with house-made blackberry rose jam. It is jam season at the doughnut shop and we are all about the fun flavors.
Grape Nehi (v) - yeast raised ring, purple Concord grape glaze, white chocolate cookie “bubbles” - pure nostalgia and no artificial colors or flavors. Every day in September.

We only make these Cinnamon Buns (v) on Tuesday and Wednesday … which means you have a mid-week mini destination vacation. These buns are worth the trip. One more week of this late summer August menu - Hazelnut Praline, Mango Coconut, Cherry Pie, Horchata, and Cappuccino Crunch will be leaving the case so we can get some fall flavors started!

We are in the final countdown to the end of peach slider season! We will have them on the menu at both locations through Thursday but when they are gone they are gone til next season!

Sweet tart cherry pie - this August menu has some real gems on it! Open til 3pm today at both location.
Horchata Pudding (v) - fluffy yeast-raised pillow rolled in cinnamon sugar and filled with house-made horchata pudding - a sweet milky pudding with hints of almond, coconut, vanilla and cinnamon.
Another superstar on the August menu … Cappuccino Crunch (v) - pillowy yeast-raised ring topped with creamy cappuccino glaze (made with Big Trouble) then rolled in house-made vanilla crumb.

Say hello to this month’s no gluten doughnut: Chocolate Hazelnut Praline (Gf/Df) - almond flour baked cake topped with chocolate, hazelnut praline and candied hazelnuts.

This sweet tart floral beauty is a real thirst quencher… Lavender Lemonade is on the menu all summer long. We make our lemonade and all our drink syrups in-house with all natural ingredients - no artificial colors!

This summertime classic is on the menu all month long - Campfire S’mores(v) - yeast-raised ring topped with chocolate glaze , house-made graham cracker crumb, and toasted marshmallow.
We are open all week with our normal hours - including Thursday 7/4 from 7am- 2pm. We will also be adding a special red white and blue treat to the menu. Stay tuned.

Final week of the June menu… Sunday is the last day to grab Cookie Dough (gf/df), Blueberry Pie(v), Limoncello Old Fashioned(v), Blueberry Lemonade(v), and Samoa(v). Open Tuesday-Friday 7am-2pm and Saturday-Sunday 8am-3pm.

Blueberry Fritter (v) - blueberries and brown sugar chopped through our yeast raised dough - fried then topped with the most beautiful purple-hued blueberry glaze. On the menu every Thursday and Friday in June.
Happy Father’s Day. My dad passed on a few years ago - he was my first project mentor - and without him this little doughnut shop would not be here today. Thank you to all the men out there who love on the next generation with patience and generous attention - you have the power to uplift and inspire.
Our Story
We are a small family-owned and operated baking company; we opened our first brick and mortar shop in Decatur, Georgia on National Doughnut Day in 2012, with our second shop opening in the Inman Park neighborhood of Atlanta in 2017. Our goal is to revitalize the American doughnut - to help restore it to its former glory as a simple, tasty, hand-crafted treat.
The founder of Revolution Doughnuts, Maria Moore Riggs, fell in love with farm-to-table comfort food during a stint working in the kitchen at Emandal, a California family resort well known for delicious family-style meals made with ingredients sourced from the farm and its two acre organic garden. This experience ignited her passion for making and sharing good quality food and she has been baking ever since.
The word “Revolution” in our name refers to our dedication to hand-crafted food - to food made by people and not machines - to making all our doughs, glazes and fillings from scratch and using real food ingredients in our recipes: organic flour, local dairy, fresh fruit, natural flavor extracts, and 100% trans-fat free vegetable oil.
