The power of transcendental sound has been channeled by various traditions, throughout history and throughout the world. Chants, prayers, hymns, recitation of sacred texts, can awaken our inherent spiritual nature.

'Mantra' is a sanskrit word meaning 'that which liberates and cleanses the mind'. Mantra refers to a sacred sound formula that is vibrated repeatedly, as a process of purifying the heart and mind, allowing the innate brilliance within to shine out into every aspect of our lives. So simple, but so powerful!

The maha-mantra: 'Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare; Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare;' awakens the heart to its divine nature, and brings about joy and true inner satisfaction..

The arrangement of this tune was inspired by my track: Essence (Hare Krishna): [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Psqgj...], where the entry to the kirtan consists of meditative vocals and a piano creating a mood that inspires loving devotion.

We have had a super exciting few days at our Pop Up Temple experience at the festival. Literally hundreds of hearts are changing one mantra at a time! We have carried over 30 mantra meditation workshops, distributed 1200 sweets, many books and have had many uplifting conversations.

Thank you to our amazing team! We are so very grateful to be able to serve you all!

We are thrilled to be back at the Mind Body Spirit Festival in London again with our Pop-Up Temple this weekend, 15th-18th April. We will be running mantra meditation and kirtan workshops throughout the 4 days which are always one of the highlights of the show.

In ancient cultures, a temple stood at the heart of every village. Today we live in a vast global village, yet we struggle to find sacred space in daily life.

Come make a wish or a prayer, practice easy, effective mantra meditation techniques, hear a bite of ancient wisdom from urban monks, and learn how to sing from the heart. Immerse yourself into a calming and uplifting ambience of our temple experience.

Many of us find it’s often hard to not overthink. Science and personal experience of those that practise mantra meditation regularly shows it helps quieten the racing thoughts and diminish their grip on our consciousness and the nervous system.

This inner quiet awakens our hearts and inner voices, and helps bring attention to a deeper connection with ourselves, each other and the Divine source.

Today we are starting a two-part Kirtan Basics Level 2 where you can learn more about this practice and see for yourself the effect of going deeper into the mantra and entering the sacred space of the heart.

WHEN? Thursday, 10th & 17th February, 7pm
WHERE? OMNOM Islington square
WHO? Dhira Govinda & Kishori
