I am completely blown away by this. I know this really isn’t a ton of streams for a real musician/artist out there, but for me I just am simply astonished. It’s been years since I put an album out (back when having a physical CD was what you had to do) and the fact that people still listen to this very simple album just makes me feel all the feels. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. The fact that because of digital platforms like Spotify and Apple Music my music has been played in places like Singapore, Russia and other parts of the world is still really really cool for an ‘independent artist.’ // Special thanks to those that really contributed to make that old album still feel special - Jacob Moyer on Cello and Scott Spruill on keys and general expertise

My favorite is probably O Holy Night, and more specifically the one by David Phelps 🙌🏻. So good. How bout you? What’s your favorite Christmas song?

Each one of these pictures is a great memory, one that makes me laugh, or cry. To be flat out honest, I’m not really a great musician. Most of these people in these pictures are much more talented than I am and and looking over the past years that I’ve been able to play, write and travel with them has truly been an adventure. Thank you bandmates for playing music with me for little or no pay. From retreats with a few teens to camps with thousands, from parades in the snow to worship nights and opening for legit bands...I still love getting to play in and out of the church. I really don’t know who is still listening to my music on Spotify and Apple, but I appreciate it 🙂 It’s cool to buy a cup of coffee every once and a while from royalties 😉 So thank you.
