For those of you starting to make summer plans, consider applying for the IVSA Veterinary Trip to Peru! This will not only be a great cultural experience, but also an opportunity to apply what you have learned in school. The application is open to all veterinary students at OSU's Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition, elective credited can be earned upon completion of education seminars and the trip.

Trip details: Guadalupe, Peru, August 10th - August 23rd 2020. We will be involved in preventative care, as well as spays and neuters.

Application details: Completed applications are due January 10th, 2020. Acceptances will be announced on January 27th.

Hello everyone, we’d like to invite you all to our first IVSA lunch talk of the year. It will be taking place on 10/31 in M102. We will be introducing our upcoming summer trip to Peru where we plan to be involved in preventative care, spays and neuters for a disadvantaged community. Anybody interested in becoming involved or hearing more details on this trip is welcome. Be on the lookout for our email along with an RSVP for lunch!

Don’t forget about the IVSA silent auction this week (May 20- May 24). Just write in your bid next to the item and if you have the highest bid we will contact you! We want to thank all the donors and a big thank you to all the bidders!

Don't forget, we are having an IVSA Trip - 2019 Info and Interest meeting tomorrow Tuesday, February 12, 2019 in M298 at 12pm. We will be discussing location(s). We are planning on either going to Nicaragua or Costa Rica, or Nica/CR (hybrid). We will be sending out a survey after this session to get feedback as to where interested people would like to go. The dates for this trip are August 11-23.
