Sourdough starter day 4 and 5, she is really starting to rise and thrive. It doesn't have that sourdough smell just yet but it's very close.

My first dough-making adventure happened on Thanksgiving, and it was a dumpling dream come true. And can we talk about how fried okra is the perfect complement to dumplings? It's like they're best friends, but in food form.

We love pizza in our house so of course i wanted to try to do it myself. It took me time to improve my technique and style but I am loving how it turned out. Best part of the newest pizza, it has stuffed cheese and garlic butter crust.
