Try out this putting drill while you are stuck at home whether it is to entertain yourself or just a quick break from WFH. One last thing to mention is to try and hit 10 putts with either hand and then try putting normally and see if you can feel the difference. Hope it helps, stay safe everyone.

The greatest comeback in sports history was witnessed yesterday at Augusta National Golf Club . Congratulations
I think an overlooked aspect of his comeback has to be his climb up the OWGR. Swipe right and see the latest top 10. Look who has snuck his way to 6! Oh and one more thing...the next two majors are at venues he has won majors before . We could be in store for something great! #81

The grip is the only contact that we as golfers make with the club. If there is one thing to perfect, gripping the club should be it! Without the help of a professional, grip pressure is an easy way to start swinging better.

Simple course management can be the difference between a tee shot in the fairway versus the woods. Make sure the tee box doesn’t align you towards trouble!

Want to spice up your practice? This putting game (unnamed) is fun and can be played alone or with friends! The rules are simple. Place a club or alignment stick approximately 2 feet behind your desired hole. Then start from 5 feet out and with each putt move back a couple feet or so. Score can be kept as follows:
Putt Made: Birdie
Putt past the hole, short of line: Par
Putt short or past line: Bogey

Can you shoot under par? Harder than it looks once you get into the 30+foot range.

Very proud to see so much improvement out of you !!! From your first time on a range to your swing now you are absolutely killing it! (Not to mention she doesn’t get an opportunity to practice too much).

Truly excited to see you get out on the course this summer with me and shoot some low numbers!

This is what teaching the game is all about, seeing people’s improvements while they fall in love with the game.

Arnold Palmer said it best. Getting better at golf, your career or anything you pursue takes constant effort to reach an end goal. I love this quote from one of the greatest role models in golf. Never settle, always strive to be better.

For golfers, the game can never be won but the player can always get better. Never give up! The game is too great.

If you have not seen the new rules of golf yet for 2019, you should check them out before the coming season! If you have played some winter golf what are your thoughts so far? My favorite is the ability to repair damage to the putting green.

Here is an easy putting drill to do at home to get yourself prepped for the upcoming season. Important keys when doing this drill:
1) Keep your legs against the table throughout the stroke
2) set up with your eyes directly over or just inside the ball
3) Minimize head movement until after impact

In putting, the goal is to minimize as much head and lower body movement. By doing this, the player is able to keep the putter more square throughout the entire stroke, helping putts start on their intended lines.

Any questions or comments don’t hesitate to ask!

Golf is a special game for exactly that reason! Tiger couldn’t have said it any better. He is the best of all time not only because of his physical ability, but because he was always mentally tougher than the competition. He knew how to stay focused, how to win and most importantly knew in the heat of the moment he was going to win.

A fast way to improve your golf game is to become a mental game master! Believe in your abilities, believe you will get better. Positive self talk and confidence can go a long way out on the golf course.
