😃 We are so excited to have spayed Lola & Duquesa yesterday. No more accidental litters for Lola. Duquesa will never be a mom! They got vaccines, deworming, nail trim & microchips! This was made possible because of generous donors! 🥳🫵🏼🩷‼️ If you saw our post last week, you know that these 2 girls and 2 husky males live in the same home. Lola‘s son & the dad Dog will be neutered next Saturday. No more accidental litters‼️ The girls were both coming out of heat so their uterus was enlarged and the bill was a bit higher than we expected. We are grateful that you support spay and neuter. Thank you to those who donate to us. Every dollar helps and we are making a difference one dog and one family at a time!! 🩷🥳🫵🏼‼️🥳 This family is in Southern California, they only speak Spanish and we are able to help them very easily because I am fully bilingual and want to support our Spanish speaking communities in need. They are so relieved and thankful for our help. We share all posts on our foundations’s official page The Canine Condition Foundation

Thanks to a very generous donor, we have been able to finish the spay and neuter of an accidental litter born to a momma dog that we spayed last fall. These male babies were finally old enough to get neutered, fully vaccinated and vetted. The family is keeping them and they are so grateful that foundations like ours exist to help them make it easy to spay/neuter and help keep their pups healthy. We know they are safe and loved. THANK YOU Donors!! You make this possible for every family we are able to help. Spay and neuter is the solution. Let’s Do This. 👊🏼🥳 Mau and Rey and their whole dog family is now vetted. They live in the desert areas of Southern California. We are so happy to have made this happen for them.

Happy Monday! Starting off the week with 2 year old Miss Pebbles who is now up to date on everything and fully vetted 🥳😍 Her family in Oregon is so happy, relieved, and grateful that our foundation has support and that donors helped make this possible today. Thank you! is the way today. Let’s Do It! Make a difference 1 dog and 1 family at a time.

Grateful for your support so more family owned dogs in need get the veterinary care necessary when families can’t afford it. No donation amount is ever too small. This help will keep more dogs in their homes!
There are many families in the United States who believe that when they cannot afford to provide care or even dog food, for their dog, that the safest place to take them is a shelter. These families truly believe that those shelters will provide good food and medical care and find a “better family” because sometimes people feel like monetary circumstances have made them not a good family for that dog. We speak up for those families, we want to help them, we want to make sure they know there is a way they can keep their pets who they love. We want to do anything possible to keep dogs from getting turned into shelters in the United States today. Please keep supporting our mission to fund spay and neuter and update basic vetting for dogs. Thank you!

Can you help us with $140 to cover Senior Estrella’s veterinary bill? 🙏🏼Exam, Antibiotics and Pain meds. Per her photos we also helped with a much needed nail trim. Her family has dogs we are spaying and neutering and suddenly their senior girl fainted and blood pressure dropped. They asked us for help. We can’t say no but we are not funded for extras or for emergencies.
We are dedicated to providing spay and neuter/ vaccines/microchips/deworming/flea-tick prevention/leashes/collars/dog food.
If you can help us help Estrella please donate swipe ⬅️ no amount is too small! Her family says Estrella is about 18 years old and they love her so your help is appreciated! We are hoping her case is not more serious and that she will heal and be comfortable.

La Importancia de
Esterilizar y Castrar a Su Mascota

What do we do? This is a reality and it’s not getting better it’s getting worse in California. 🥺😢😔 The current system is not working. Clearly. The current system is built to enable anyone to breed, to surrender, to abandon, to neglect and to walk away without consequence. The current system then also euthanizes to make up for what it lacks in proper laws, regulation and to save face while using “lack of funds” as an excuse. Mismanagement of funds, improper staffing and outdated laws is really what is happening. Disheartening.
Times have changed and the system is not changing with the times so it cannot properly service today’s needs.
We always try to keep things positive and stay motivated, so we can motivate others along the journey, but we cannot look the other way and pretend like all of this isn’t really going on.

Poppy is in Oregon. Her family saved her from a not so great situation. She is only 9 months old. She has not had her first heat so we must hurry‼️ Can you help us raise enough money to cover all her vetting? Oregon is currently one of the most expensive states to spay/ neuter & update basic vetting for dogs. The low cost or free spay/neuter clinics are booked for up to a year-sometimes families also live hours away from them. When Poppy’s family reached out to us for help, we said YES without thinking twice. We must help. That’s all there is to it. Please help us raise the money. Let’s find sponsors for Poppy to get spayed. We have an appt. for her on February 27! 🙏🏼 We must make it happen on this date, because if she goes into heat, Oregon vets make you wait 60 days after the initial 30 day heat cycle. And when a female is spayed after a heat cycle it almost doubles the price of the spay in Oregon. Come on dog lovers let’s do this. Team Poppy!! Who is in?! 💜

Fella (pinky’s daughter had 1 accidental litter. BUT she will never have an accidental litter again!! 💜She and her sister and momma dog are loved by their family. They needed guidance and help to prevent accidental litters due to roaming/neighboring intact male dogs that somehow find their way into the girls’ yard. The family lives in a remote area of southern California and the whole family is now very happy that the girls have all been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, chipped, and will have flea/tick prevention. We want to give a shout out and a huge THANK YOU in capital letters to 🥳❤️🥳 for reaching out to us and helping out with half of the bill in order to us to get all 3 girls done on the same day with everything needed. Thank you to those who donated to help us make this possible when we couldn’t raise all them funds before the girls went into heat again. Thank you to those who donated to help us make this possible when we couldn’t raise all the funds before the girls went into heat again. When I spoke to the family, the father, Mr. Jose, who only speaks Spanish, I can tell you that he was extremely grateful and appreciative for all of this including the tips and the knowledge that we have extended to him and his family. Thank you for supporting our mission and believing us when we say SPAY & NEUTER is the solution. Please donate to spay and neuter initiatives. We help families with Spay/Neuter and update basic vetting. During that process we provide free microchips for any of the families and dogs we help that are not already microchipped. Some vet clinics allow us to provide the microchip but they still charge us an insertion fee of $8-$15. Fine, we cover it. Many veterinarians will insert the chip we provide for free when the dog is getting spayed or neutered. We register the microchip for free for every family we help. The vet keeps the # in the pet’s chart as well. If the goal is to get every family owned dog and cat microchipped then let’s work together to make it easy. Veterinary prices are already at an all time high. We don’t need to profit off of something that costs so little and can help curb the numbers of lost or abandoned pets during one of the worst homeless pet epidemics we have ever seen. ❤️

HAPPY MONDAY! Biscuit is now a neutered baby boy. His family is in California and is so grateful for our help with his neuter. We get to help families who love their pets and want what is best for them. When high veterinary prices are the only thing standing in the way, we want to make it easy and we want to make it happen. All of the families that we have had the pleasure of working with take a proactive stance in the process. They are part of the solution. No donation is ever too small so please know that when you support our mission, you too are a part of the solution. Let’s end homeless dog
overpopulation. abandonment and neglect. Let’s end the overcrowding in shelters. Let’s not give the system a reason to continue euthanizing them. Please donate to us when you can. Every dollar is going to help pay for a dog’s vet bill. Donation link in bio

Yay! We did it for Stormy & her family that loves her! We had an appointment in the books for this morning in Los Angeles, Ca. and as of 2 days ago we had no donations for her but yesterday an amazing dog lover and supporter who had contributed funds had us earmark it for Stormy! 🥳🥳😍 and we were able to cover stormy‘s spay procedure. Thank you thank you thank you! This beautiful 1.5 year old collie mix will never be at risk of having a litter of puppies. She is now a healthy, fully vetted, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed sweet girl, whose family is tremendously grateful for the help we have extended to them. Stormy was saved by her family as a young puppy by some people whose dog did have an accidental litter and they didn’t want the puppies so they were giving them away to anyone who would take them. Thankfully Stormy landed in loving and responsible hands. HAPPY FRIDAY

Dog food and dog food ingredients can get to be a very heated topic. I, as the founder of this organization share my educated opinion because I am very passionate about giving our canine companions the best dog food we can afford or find. For years, I have been and continue to research dog food companies and ingredients used. I am always open to learning more as long as I have facts and evidence. The lack of regulation in the United States over dog food companies is unfortunate. We are what we eat and so are our dogs. With rising dog food prices it’s hard for families to buy high quality products. The cheap stuff, the affordable or “easy to find everywhere” dog food is cheap and easy to find for a reason. Mass production at low prices means lower quality for the consumer and higher profits for the manufacturer. Our website www.thecaninecondition.org offers a resources page with lots of detailed information on how to find the best foods for you and your dog and your pocket.
And maybe we blend some high quality dog food with some more affordable dog food so the foods last longer and at least the dogs are getting more health benefits in their meals and less of the cheap not so good foods.

Meet Stormy! And let us know if you would like to help sponsor her spay surgery. STORY TIME: Stormy lives with the family that saved ROOBY from our previous posts. Stormy is their dog. She needs to be spayed and updated on vaccines. She is just over a year old and a real sweetheart. While they foster Rooby for adoption we are also going to fully vet Stormy. We want to thank for helping us cover part of ROOBY’S vet bill. Thanks to their help we were able to set other funds aside to get Stormy started on the vetting process. We will also microchip, deworm and provide flea tick prevention for Stormy.
Thank you for supporting our mission. There are so many families who love their pets and want to do right by them and they just need help to cover today’s high veterinary costs. We are hoping to make a positive difference, one family and one dog at a time. Help us help Stormy! Stormy was born as part of an accidental litter somewhere in Los Angeles - the family that had her as a puppy at the time was giving away the litter and was going to turn them into a shelter. Stormy‘s current family saved her from having an unknown fate.

Ahsoka! SPAYED! 🥳This beautiful baby girl recently turned 1 year old! Ahsoka and her family live in Oregon. We have found Oregon to have some of the highest veterinary costs in the USA. Spay surgeries are running anywhere from $432 for a small to medium sized puppy before her first heat cycle to as high as $1500 for large breed dogs that have had a heat cycle. When her family reached out to us for some help, we said YES! Let’s Do It! We did try to help find a low-cost or free spay/neuter clinic, and the only one available within driving distance is booked for one year for those services.
Since the time of the initial request to the time we could find an appointment for a reasonably priced vet, Ahsoka went into heat. the veterinary clinic and said they would not spay her until 60 days after the initial 30 days of the heat cycle had passed. We called other clinics and everyone in Oregon gave us the same narrative. We knew her family would be careful and wait
it out until we could make it happen. Ahsoka is now resting at home and everything went well. Ahsoka is a litter mate to Sassafras who we previously spayed. Both girls were born to a stray, pregnant, momma dog who was also safely taken in by a family that loves her. No rescue organization was involved at the time - a group of loving humans wanted to protect and find good homes for the dogs. Ahsoka is a sweet, darling girl whose family absolutely spoils her and adores her! They even had a 1st bday party for her.

Frankie is loved by her family. They live in a remote town in Northern California. It was definitely not easy for her family to find affordable vet care near them. When they called us, we called over 8 veterinary clinics none of which were affordable. Free spay neuter was booked for a year and a long drive from them. In that time, Frankie went into heat. We knew the family would keep her safe and it was better to wait for the spay than to perform the surgery while in heat. Frankie is 2 yrs old and has never had a litter. The Veterinary Clinic that we finally found is near them and they have a very friendly, accommodating staff & veterinarian. The pre-op appointment does add to the bill. Pre-op includes updating vaccines which we always cover, and a mandatory bloodwork panel and heartworm test + hw prevention (those are mandatory in this area in order for this clinic to perform a spay surgery.)She is HW neg. We have to make this happen for them so if you feel so inclined to help us sponsor Frankie or can donate anything toward her bill: Pre-op costs were $277.93
Please donate on our donation page at our website www.thecaninecondition.org OR see LINK IN BIO. Thank You.

Swipe ⬅️. We must say YES and get it done. There is often so much red tape around low cost or free spay/neuter done through the counties of Los Angeles and San Bernardino. The county systems is working against the very cause they say they are servicing. They are actually preventing families from getting their pets easily spayed and neutered. If only we had time and space here to tell you all of the stories that we come across with amazing families who do want to spay and neuter their pets but it is made difficult or impossible by their county services.
For example, when a family with a dog older than 7 years is told they can only use their voucher if they go to a private vet and get a bloodwork panel that clears them for surgery- they are talking about $125 to $225 just for the blood work and when the family doesn’t have a vet, they have to find a vet and also pay an exam fee. 🤯😣 LET’S MAKE IT EASY AND FREE! Many many families in the USA want to spay and neuter their pets. Please donate to our cause. We have an ongoing fundraiser at the moment@and our Linktree has the donation page. Help us make this happen so we don’t have so many accidental and unwanted litters that end up on the streets or in shelters. WE MAKE IT EASY! And we speak Spanish fluently for all families who need to communicate in Spanish!

We need $350 per dog ASAP. Please donate to us for THE 3 SISTERS LINK IN BIO to all of our donation options. PLEASE and THANK YOU.

Another baby mama spayed! Athena’s family is in the desert area of Southern California. Athena had an accidental littler last year and her family did not want that to happen again. They love her and they reached out to us for help with spay surgery and we were happy to say YES! Let’s Do It!
Upon arrival at the vet this week, the veterinarian informed them that she was going into heat. The Dr. assured us it was still safe to perform the surgery but it did cost an additional $125. We were not expecting that but the family approved moving forward and we gave the ok. Even if veterinarians in these areas are more reasonably priced than other areas, the additional $125 is A LOT - not just for us, but for any family who finds themselves in this situation. Remember that when you donate to us, when you help us, you are really helping them. You are helping every dog whose bills we are paying, you are helping families prevent these accidental litters. You are keeping pets from ending up in the shelter. You are keeping more pets in their homes. Thank you for your continued support.
