Crushed my upper body workout this morning! Followed by cardio on the machine that got me started. The elliptical.
I was dying on the ā€œweight lossā€ setting back then on the starting setting which I think was 4/1 for low, and 10/4 for the higher one (intervals) .
Today I was doing 8/6 for low and 11/6 for high intervals.

Change and results wonā€™t, and donā€™t happen over night unfortunately. Iā€™ve also learned that for a lasting difference, there is no magic pill for changing my life. Itā€™s dedication to the process. Itā€™s TRUSTING the process, and showing up. I needed accountability when I started....hell, I STILL need accountability!! Iā€™ve used coaches, I surround myself with like-minded and focused people who know what Iā€™m trying to do and support me every step of the way.

I became a coach because I want to help others the way I was helped and coached. I had to and still have to work hard for the changes I want to see in myself. I listen to my clients, and make changes as they need so they are always moving forward with progress. Iā€™ve gotten some clients off HBP meds, Iā€™ve helped some get through and conquer half marathons and shave time off other races, and Iā€™ve helped some with losing weight and feeling better in their own damn body as Iā€™ve helped a few who wanted to build muscle. No matter what the goal or the timeframe, it IS possible. You have to believe that. Do I believe that??

It doesnā€™t have to make you bulky, but what lifting doesnā€™t for skeletal muscle in women can do wonders!!! Reversing osteoporosis and similar issues is a huge benefit to lifting weights for women!

Core exercise: Bird dogs!

When done correctly, the core is activated, heart rate should rise, and you should sweat. Important notes on this; keep hips level and in line with shoulders as much as possible. Draw your belly button/tummy in (keep core tight), extend/exhale right leg/left arm, inhale when you come back in. Repeat on the other side. Only coming up to make a straight line, back should be neutral & flat like a tabletop.

Last week was check-ins for one of our clients..Ben has been working with me since mid March.

He came to me wanting to lose 40 pounds and get under 235. Not only did he lose the 40 pounds, he lost 56.6 pounds, 9.2% bf and 29 total Inches.

Ben dedicated himself to learning better eatting habits and learned to love the cardio and it helps him reach his goals!

Today was backday, my favorite day of the week!
It's a opportunity to urn one of my weakness(not wide enough-latissimus dorsi) into a positive. Back day is not always about how heavy you can lift.. it's about time under tension and controling how long you have the muscle working on each rep. As you can see I only have 4-25pound plates for this move. That gives me greater control and range of motion to really target the muscle.

Now accepting new clients for the fall! It's never too early to start getting hat summer body ready!šŸ˜‚

Happy Monday!!!

I had an opportunity to get my InBody USA scan updated yesterday!

In a little over a year this is where Iā€™m at currently(photo 2, after breakfast)

Up .5 lbs muscle
Down 15.5 lbs
BMI dropped, Body Fat dropped 5%, and I canā€™t imagine how much those numbers will continue to change as I go!
In this yearā€™s time gone Iā€™ve:
šŸ”¹started and stopped more times than I can count
šŸ”¹gotten off track with my nutrition
šŸ”¹slacked with my workouts
šŸ”¹been far from perfect

So what Iā€™m saying is; even if you fall off you better GET BACK UP and go after it again!! No matter how many times you think you might be failing, thereā€™s always the chance to start again. When you put your health on the line, making sure you can find a method that works for YOU is imperative! You canā€™t do a program that someone else does and expect to see the EXACT same results.

Iā€™m using this to push me forward this month and months forward! Letā€™s get it everyone!!

Sometimes your session with a client is looking at grocery ads for where they shop so they can make the best choice possible with the food they buy. Making sure my clients get the most success possible so they feel their absolute best is what drives me the most; whether itā€™s workouts or looking at the nutrition aspect.

Sweet heat rub on 6.3 oz of chicken tenderloins...6 oz of white rice and half a avacado.. this is filling meal and only costs a few dollars to make! I prep my food ahead so it's easier during the week!

This is what $51.35 worth of healthy meals for me for the next 2(ish) weeks from !
Healthy proteins:
4dozen eggs for the Egg whites, chicken thighs, and Greek yogurts
low carb foods: veggies, salad mix, and cauliflower rice
healthy fats:
Bacon, Greek yogurt, and peanut butter.
Yes the yogurts will have some sugars in there, but thatā€™s why you plan your meals ahead of time!! Leave no chance for excuses, or distractions!
