Ben Update: For those supporting CHS student Ben Myers on his cancer journey.
This month has been rough for Ben and his family as he fought an infection that left him week and tired and having to use oxygen to breath. Last week he was able to breath on his own.
Today, his mom, Jocelyn Myers reported that Ben's chemo port was removed. "Ben is officially port-less! He had his chemo port removed this morning and we got the results from the final scan after chemo. His tumors have all shrunk and they are not lighting up anymore on the PET. The radiation will shrink them more but as of today, BEN IS OFFICIALLY IN REMISSION," she shared.
Ben will begin radiation next week, which the doctors state will be much easier.
You can continue to support the Myers family at area businesses like Leprekon Harvest Foods and Kaffrin's Coffee who have donation boxes on site or through the go fund me page at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/ben-myers-fight-again-hodgkins-lymphoma
