Exciting news at Stoltz Remodeling! We have a new employee who has joined the team, and we’re so excited to introduce you to her.

Meet Mary - our Project Coordinator, and also Michelle’s cousin! She has been working on tons of behind the scenes work for us including project coordination and administrative work, and we are so thankful for her detail-oriented and strong work ethic.

If you didn’t already know, we are contractors for our clients but also for our own home. This summer, we’re tackling our exterior space, both in the front yard and backyard.

Right now, we’re getting the plans drawn for a new garage in the backyard. From where we started with this house, we’ve come a long way, but we still have lots of work to do.

Let this be your reminder to work with a contractor on projects so you know everything is done correctly and to code. You don’t want to mess with having to go back and fix things after the fact!

Before we even get started on any construction, we have an extensive pre-construction process that will really help you in the long run!

First you get to tell us about your project. What’s your vision? Once we have that information, we’ll provide you with a preliminary estimate!

Then, if you don’t already have a designer, we’ll introduce you to one of our trusted interior designers.

And before we start construction, we enter a contract, collect a down payment, and start scheduling work!

All of this takes time, so if you’re thinking about a project, now is the best time to reach out to get started! We’re excited to meet you!

In the , we remodeled the entire main floor. This project included knocking down walls to create a more open layout, bringing in new flooring, and an entirely new kitchen, mudroom and deck.

It’s safe to say this home got quite the transformation!

After water damage left our client with a partially finished basement, we came in for the remodel to create a space they could actually live in and enjoy.

With a new entertainment center, a guest room and bathroom, and a gym, our clients now have a fully functioning basement.

Previously this space was completely unfinished, but through a remodel, our clients and their guests get to fully enjoy their lower level. Now, the features this bathroom, an office, a bedroom / workout room, dry bar, and living space.

If you had an unfinished basement, what would be your top wish for a remodel?

It’s hard to believe, but 7 years ago this month, we got our first logo for Stoltz!

When we started this business in 2017, we knew we wanted to be intentional with every decision we made, even the name. “Stoltz” means pride in German, and we carry that into every home we have the honor of working in.

How did you come up with your business name? We’d love to hear the story in the comments below!

If you haven’t seen it yet, we’ve been slowly but surely working on our own home to update it - everything from the exterior landscaping to the interiors.

We know going through a remodel can be hard. Things come up that you don’t expect, but we’ve found it’s important to roll with the punches. It’s what makes the entire process that much more enjoyable.

You know those projects that you always remember? The is one of those for us. Our clients trusted us to completely gut their bathroom, which meant lots of demo and a really good reveal!

We partnered with Studio M Kitchen and Bath to bring our client’s dreams to reality.

One of my most favorite things is creating a cozy space for guests. This basement guest bedroom works hard as a office and guest retreat. These custom barn doors by are so pretty and inviting, don’t you think?!

Another day another trip to

An incredible amount of work went into the and it was so fun to host gatherings over the last few weeks! We have one more party to host this year for the Stoltz family, can’t wait!

The is really coming along. This little area just needs some finishing touches and we are ready for a dinner party, who wants to come?!

Happy 35th Birthday to this Stud! Dylan is our MVP and for his birthday I gifted him the day off. His favorite things to do: Nap, have a bourbon old fashioned, and cruise on the boat. He’s a real man of leisure 😝wish him a happy birthday 🥳

Almost to the finish line with our sweet clients! We remodeled their kitchen last year and now we’re remodeling their basement! Hoping to get this finished by January 1! Think we can do it?!
