Kikoi Pride brings you the fantastic kikoi from East Africa in colours you will be proud of. Help us support ByGrace School & Orphanage in Kenya!
A Kikoi is a piece of fabric decorated with a special set of stripes along the borders. This vibrant garment and symbol of East African culture is so much more than just a piece of cloth. Its home, the beautiful coast of the Indian Ocean, is a place where family, friends and the good times come together to make great memories. With a hundred different uses and just as many ways to wear it, the cul
ture of wearing a kikoi (what we call “kikoi culture”) is all about living life, having fun and coming together. We are inspired by what a kikoi represents; it is a banner under which a group of people can unite. Whether brought together by a belief, a cause, a time or a place, we realized that togetherness is truly greatness. We want you to take your school pride and wear it proudly. We want you to take your passion for life and display it. We want you to take your power and empower someone else. So, we brought these all together with our line of Stanford Kikois. Available in three color combinations, 30% of profits from the sales of these 100% cotton kikois go to ByGrace Trust, an organization running an orphanage and school in Kenya. What can I do with my Kikoi? You can use a kikoi in any way possible – as a scarf, a sarong, picnic blanket, beach blanket, to stay warm at football games… The list is endless! Get creative and have fun! For some ideas, take a look at our photos and on our page. Let us know if you think of a cool way to use a kikoi that we haven’t put up yet!
