This weekend... I cheated on Keto... I cheated hard and repeatedly. Feeling a little dirty.
Five pounds down 15 to go... Woohoo...
Up side of keto... My blood pressure is great.
When you have a husband that asks if you want chicken minis in the morning...
Steak wraps. Delicious. Round eye steak, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, mushrooms, paprika, oregano, salt and pepper. 400 for 30. Covered for the first 20. I can cut it with a butter knife. (Made some without mushrooms for Caleb and they are still good.)
Egg avocado salad with turkey bacon... Pretty great.
Ignore my colorful shorts, but I weighed in just now... the pounds are dropping quicker than I thought. Good Lord, this takes willpower. Not going to lie, I had half a slice of cake at Alex's wedding. 😅

Ok guys starting point... It's embarrassing, but it's the real deal. My motivation is to one day post these pictures and not feel as bummed as I do right now. Let's get started. Side note: to make me sadder I weighted 162, 8 months pregnant with Lucy. 😭😭😭 But guys I have two sweet nuggets I need to get healthy for and it is easier to pack the pounds on than to get them off... Can I get an Amen?!
Guys the cover photo was right after I had Lukas... I was breast feeding and I weighed in at 127lbs. After getting pregnant with Lucy I thought I would drop the pounds like I did with Lukas, but that was not the case. That number on the scale just kept going up. Fad diets don't work because I will lose 10 pounds and BOOM it's back. I read a book by Bethany Frankel that basically said you have to treat your body like it is a input and output machine. Only put things in that are healthy. We all know that the rolls add to the rolls, but it tastes good.
Joel and I are currently in a house whose previous owners really loved themselves because there are mirrors everywhere. I caught a look at myself on my couch on my phone and I didn't recognize the person staring back at me. I didn't realize how unhealthy I had really become until I literally saw it for myself.
Keto is the goal but yall defining the relationship between a healthier lifestyle when you are used to Sonic Blasts ever night is going to be rough. Encouragement is great, and yall are now my accountability partners. Let's get busy busting our butts together.
