It has been about two years since I posted something. My disappearance has been due to starting my Doctorate in Social Work about two years ago. What made me reappear? A conference about the future of social work. This is confluence of events for me as I have spent this semester narrowing the scope of my dissertation topic. Kids and families are starting to feel this uncertainty which I think is much worse than what we felt during shutdowns. We also need to keep them and their loved ones safe. It’s time to do something or at least reduce capacity with hybrid learning.
