One week on from our St Andrew’s Night gig with Justin Currie at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, and we’re only just starting to come back down to earth 💫
It was a dream to perform alongside Justin again - an incredible musician and a joy to be around. His songwriting is incomparable…
A huge thanks to two more wonderful musicians - James Lindsay Music & Scott Mackay - for joining us on bass and kit. It was amazing to hear the songs come alive with the whole ensemble.
What can we say about Soundhouse CHOIR?! 100 beautiful singers who lifted the second half to something we had only dreamt about! All under the leadership of powerhouse, Heather Mac LEOD MUSIC 🔥
Our unending thanks to Jimi Troup and all of the Limelight Event Services team for making the whole day so enjoyable for us all.
These folks are the best in the business ⭐️
AND FINALLY! The biggest thanks of all goes to YOU, the people turning out to support live music at this concert, and all the others across the year. We couldn’t do it without you.

Kendal! An update: thanks to everyone who’s bringing strings tonight. Think we should be covered now, you lovely lot.
Anna here, with an SOS…I have made the IDIOT move of leaving my spare guitar strings at home, and Kendal has no music shop. As much as I enjoy life on the edge, I wonder if any guitarists attending tonight’s gig might be able to bring an emergency set along with them, just in case…? Any brand, any gauge. Be my safety net?!

We’ve got an incredibly exciting month ahead...
In one week, we begin our tour around England and Wales, kicking things off at the beautiful Brewery Arts, Kendal. It’s going to be a lovely thing altogether.
After that, it’s back north to Edinburgh’s Usher Hall where, joined by Del Amitri’s Justin Currie & special guests the Soundhouse CHOIR, we plan to celebrate St Andrew’s night like you’ve never celebrated it before!!
