✨ Happy New Year! ✨
⠀
In reflecting on my theme for this new year, I thought momentous would be a good choice. Both of my sons are having milestone birthdays and I wanted to focus on the moments, the little things in our every day lives that truly make a difference.
⠀
And then I did one of those quirky online predictions. The result was a year filled with love & light. And I thought, Ahhh, maybe there’s something to this.
⠀
So I pivoted, choosing flexibility in my yearly theme. Recognizing that flexibility is a key component in both my yoga practice and my life.
⠀
In keeping with the theme of love and light, I am choosing FLY as my word for 2022.
⠀
FLY ~ as in First Love Yourself by creating and maintaining healthy boundaries.
⠀
FLY ~ as in letting go of the weight, the heavy things that no longer serve us, so we are light enough to FLY
⠀
FLY ~ as in moving forward on this journey, having Faith we’re FLYing in the right direction
⠀
Let’s fly together ~ Namaste
It’s World Kindness Day 😊
A few of my favorite, small ways to reach out ~
1. Leave $1 bills or gift cards as bookmarks in The Little Free Library books. (I’ve always loved books.)
2. Connect a charity to my Amazon account. Round up for charities when shopping. Vote for my fav charities on Target 🎯 Circle.
3. Post a positive review about a business, employee or book.
4. Refrain from blowing the horn when someone is distracted at a green light.
5. Pick up trash at the beach.
6. Working on the The Rule of 10 (make eye contact & smile) and 5 (add a greeting or start a conversation)

We finished the event with 46.88 miles. Disney definitely helped our total, but chasing seagulls is hard to beat. 😉 Cure GRIN Foundation
Disney makes it easy to log more miles. 🎬 Partner boat pose in Hollywood Studios ~ Can you guess which attraction?
There’s still time to join us. The event is through the end of July.
Kicking off Team 626’s Get Moving for Grin event with a walk to the park and Easy pose.

I set this goal a few years ago & this week the stars aligned.
