The float depicted a candy land theme complete with a bubble blower chimney, gingerbread house, music, and with "Jesus is the sweetest reason for the season" mindset.

Congratulations to our 2023 Grand Marshal's Pick winner - Collinsville Students (Collinsville First Baptist Church ministry for students in grades 6th-12th and their families).

Our Grand Marshal, Mrs. Bonnie White Earley, said that she chose the float that depicted the most beautiful scenario of our savior.

Voting for the fan favorite will go live later tonight and be open through 9 p.m. Sunday night!

3️⃣ BIG ASKS OF OUR COMMUNITY FOR TONIGHT

1: 🥫🛒 Please consider bringing items for the holiday food drive supporting the Wesley House Community Center Meridian. There will be a Lauderdale County, MS Sheriff's Office patrol car at the Piggly Wiggly of Collinsville to accept donations.

2: 📷 We need a volunteer to take a photo of each parade float entry as they are lined up in the Collinsville First Baptist Church parking lot to be used for the fan favorite voting content. Great community service opportunity for a student. DM us for details or tag a Crown Club, Deb, Dusty's, Honor Society student, etc.!

3: 🦺 Help keep everyone safe!
Drive slow, watch for children, stay alert, and if you throw items from your float - throw em' like you are trying out for West Lauderdale Softball Championship Team's starting pitcher position 🥎😉❤️

Celebrating Summer's life and her amazing legacy that lives on through her family, the donors who received her organs, and our community who knew and loved her is why we're honoring her during this year's parade!

Line up in the north lot (Philadelphia side) of Collinsville First Baptist.

Float judging at 5:30pm.

📢 WEATHER UPDATE 📢

PARADE STILL ON FOR SATURDAY AT 5:30PM. FINAL DECISION SATURDAY AT 10AM.

We'll make a final call at 10 am Saturday morning as the forecast may change again.

We just can't predict (if you were in Collinsville last Saturday at 5:30pm, you know what we mean 😉).

Believe us ... we are planners and want the very best parade experience for the very best little community!

If it's not possible to have Saturday, the new date will be this Tuesday at 6 pm (the last day of school for students).

We realize this date may not work for everyone, and we're apologizing in advance if we have to postpone again.

We will post here on our page Saturday morning at 10 am if the weather will not cooperate.

Stay tuned, say a prayer for clear skies Saturday, and let's remember the reason for the season!

Due to the threat of severe weather this weekend, the Collinsville Christmas Parade is RESCHEDULED to next Saturday, December 16, at 5:30pm.

1️⃣ We are actively monitoring the weather forecast for Saturday and will post any updates to this page. Y'all know Mississippi weather is unpredictable 😉 our first priority is safety, and we will keep this page updated as we get closer to the weekend.

2️⃣ Our parade route will follow the same route as last year:

Floats line up at Collinsville First Baptist Church, proceed down Hwy 19 N, turn right onto Collinsville Road and go in front of the Pig, turn right onto the last street into Ross Collins subdivision to follow the front loop of the neighborhood.
