Holston Conference United Methodist Women will host a Social Action Event, "Do No Harm: Understanding and Challenging the School-to-Prison Pipeline". This will be a virtual event to be held Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 10:00 AM -12:00 Noon. Open to all, this interactive workshop will deepen our understanding of the school-to-prison pipeline using a Wesleyan framework. We will also explore ways to interrupt this pattern of systemic harm and make a positive change in our communities. Whether you are brand new to the work or have been involved for decades, we invite you to join the conversation.
There is no cost to participate. A Mission Giving offering will be taken for Bennett College for Women, a United Methodist Women National Mission Institution.

Calling all thinkers, creative, artistic and talented women of Holston Conference. The Holston Conference United Methodist Women Spiritual Growth Committee is announcing the 2022 United Methodist Women Theme and Logo Design Contest.
All United Methodist women, whether they are connected to a unit or not, are eligible to participate. Youth and young women are also eligible to participate.
The design must be related to the selected scripture text; “So let us do all we can to live in peace. And let us work hard to build up one another.” Romans 14:19 (New International Reader’s Version)
The Theme and Logo Design Contest can be used as an opportunity to share our Mission and PURPOSE with others, as well as enhance your spiritual and social justice witness.
Submission deadline is Friday, August 20th.
