Happy Birthday to Shayla from our Girls 2008-10 (and some 2011's) team who fought in some tough matches this weekend at the Crossfire tournament in Redmond.

Each week, SK United will recognize players who exemplify our core traits of courage, strength, and honor.

For the week of June 28, 2024, we are proud to recognize Nolan H. (from our Boys 2013 team) and Tenley J. (from our Girls 2012 team)!

Nolan is always willing to put the needs of his team above his own. He consistently coaches others on the team with a positive attitude and communicates well on and off the field. He is a role model for new and existing players with his hard work ethic and genuine personality.

Tenley always brings bright energy, ferocious grit, and endless support for her teammates, whether that be at practice or a game. At the recent Valor Cornacopia Cup, our team registered for the Bronze division and were instead placed in the Gold division. Despite facing the toughest opponents this tournament had to offer, Tenley gave 100% in every minute of each game, refusing to give up her determination. She also used her voice to keep her teammates motivated, uplifting our team even in times of adversity. Besides that, she's a pleasure to coach! Tenley routinely displays everything we ask of United players and then some!

Nolan and Tenley, we are PROUD to have you call SK United your "home!"

The key is to start hydrating early! And don’t forget to keep an eye on sports engine for possible practice schedule changes due to the heat!

The Fathoms of Fun Parade is coming June 29th! We are looking for 20-30 SKSC players (United and Rec) who would like to participate in the parade. The parade is on Saturday, June 29th at 6pm. Players will be walking, holding the banner, and passing out candy with flyers. Please wear your SKSC clothes and if new kits have not yet arrived for your United player, please wear any United gear that you have.

Interested parties can email Tiffany at [email protected] to let her know you have player(s) interested in attending and receiving details as they develop. Come join us for some local community fun!

If you are 12 years or older and interested in becoming a small sided referee, SKSC is hosting a clinic June 22nd at 11am. No sign up needed, just show ready to learn!
