Recently made these rustic miniature outdoor tables and benches for a local nursery made from European Larch.

The wind is howling and the rain is lashing down, but the work goes on. 😁 Our new composting system being built.

Last gift we made is one for dog owners. No wood goes to waste here, this was made from Oak offcuts from another project.

Another present we made this year is this rustic drinks caddy made from Yew and Oak which is finished with beeswax.

This year we made our Christmas gifts for some family members. All made from off cuts of Oak from the mill. First up personalised picture frames.

A bespoke gate we made for Gallowhill. A unique gate was requested, we hope we satisfied that request. The gate is made from twisted Larch, milled and constructed by ourselves.
The carved gate posts were created by Sam Bowsher Chainsaw Carving

Something is being hatched in the Carsphairn Woods. Adam from Thick and Thin lumber co talking about hide design, we will be popping a wildlife hide in here very shortly.

A Recent desktop we have completed from cherry wood. The timber was finished in Danish oil and then beeswax to bring out the character in the cherry

Introducing a new product we can produce for you - tongue and groove shadow cladding. This shadow cladding is European Larch but any species of timber can be used. The cladding here was used to spruce up an existing deck.

Hopefully this recent order of a rustic table and benches will bring back the summer sunshine.

Here is our latest project, an outdoor classroom for a local Primary School. The classroom is constructed from locally sourced European Larch and the furniture is made from Douglas Fir. Both the milling and the kit were built off site. Final assembly was a little challenging due to the restricted access but where there's a will, there's a way.

First use of our new moulder to produce tongue and groove boards. Boards are European larch and 35mm thick. Once milled, moulded and oiled the boards were used to replace timbers on a tractor trailer headboard.
