Are you seeing more foxes or coyotes during the daytime? Many people think that a fox or coyote that is active during the day is sick or rabid. This isn't the case! Particularly right now, this is the time when current and future babies need to be fed, or when the mother requires even more nutrients in order to produce enough milk for newborns. If you have friends or neighbors concerned about a daytime canid, they may want to call animal control.
