We’re please to announce a return to in-person styling classes in Las Vegas. We will be partnering with .wigs from “The Caged Wig” for a hands-on wig styling class on March 30th, 2024 from 10am-6pm.
This will be a full day of hands-on learning where Bobbie will teach the students how to create a beautiful Victorian Gilded Age updo style from start to finish; including blocking, roller setting, steaming, creating hair rats/ filler, comb out and finishing techniques. These valuable styling techniques can all be applied to many other time periods, drag, theatrical and opera hair & wig styling.
Class size is limited to 12 students to ensure plenty of individualized one on one instruction.
Brushes, combs, pins, product and elastics will be provided.
Class fee includes the following items for students to keep:
“Ali” or “Priya” heat safe synthetic lace front wig from BobbiePinz.com.
2 Packs of jumbo braid to create hair rat/filler
Hairnets
Duckbill clips
Styrofoam head for completed wig
Students will need to bring (please label any personal items):
Scissors (synthetic hair will dull hair-cutting shears, so don’t bring your good ones!!!)
Hair decoration/accessories/feathers if desired
Personal brushes/combs if desired
Personal pins if desired
Personal product if desired
Personal wig block if desired
After booking your spot in our “Gilded Age” class, we will reach out for your wig color selection.

We used a “Priya” in “350” and doubled the parting area along the front, with a widow’s peak, temple shaping and side burn coverage. Knotting is not as deep as previous weeks, so her price is discounted.💁🏼♀️
