Are you a mouth breather or nose breather? ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

Nasal breathing offers a range of physiological and health benefits, including:

๐ŸŒฟ Filtering and Humidification: The nasal passages contain hairs and mucous membranes that help filter out contaminants, pollutants, and pathogens. They also humidify the air, making it more suitable for the lungs.

๐ŸŒฟ Increased Oxygen Absorption: Nasal breathing allows for better oxygen-carbon dioxide exchange. This can increase oxygen absorption in the lungs.

๐ŸŒฟ Diaphragmatic Breathing: Breathing through the nose can promote deeper, more diaphragmatic breathing, which is beneficial for the lungs and overall oxygenation. Also helps improve your overall posture.

๐ŸŒฟ Production of Nitric Oxide: The sinuses produce nitric oxide, a molecule that plays a vital role in increasing circulation and

CONFESSION TIME!! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

I have been super lazy with my handstand practice over the summer! There are no excuses, I just didnโ€™t have the mojo to practice. I returned to class last Saturday with and realised I have lost so much strength, especially in my shoulders just in two months. So itโ€™s back to basics and drill training for me to get that strength and confidence back!

Here I am this morning holding a tuck shape against the wall.

Semi hanging is a great way of creating active traction, feeling space within the spine whilst also strengthening and stretching shoulders ๐Ÿ‘Œ
