Young people in the Euro-Arab region promote and contribute to the transition of sustainable ways of living and a global society founded on a shared ethical framework that includes respect and care for the community of life, ecological integrity, universal human rights, respect for diversity, economic justice, democracy, and a culture of peace. Objectives
1- Building bridges of trust and mutual understanding between the participants to eliminate prejudice and discrimination

2- Reform and reshape the framework of the relation between euro Arab youth

3- To educate, train and motivate youth generations to the active participation and citizenship’s concrete actions

4- Build a regional youth Policies and advocating for a stronger youth agenda

5- Find common non formal educational approaches when dealing with conflict resolution.

6- Develop a solid knowledge in youth issues and develop the leadership skills for young leaders


Forum Structure

Stage One

The first stage will take place online through Earth Charter International’s online platform which will provide an interactive, creative and innovative space for the participants to work together. The first stage will consist of 4 sessions once a week for two hours and the projected start date is February 28th, 2012. Number of participants: 15 European and 15 Arab youths

Topics to be discussed during the first stage
1- Youth sustainability leadership
2- Intercultural Dialogue | Intercultural Communicative Competence
3- Sustainable ways of living
4- Planning for Sustainable Action Projects

During the final online session, the participants will be divided into 5 groups, each group will contain 6 youth from different countries (European and Arab countries) and their assignment will be to work together, virtually, to create a multicultural project that can be implemented within their contexts with the aim to enhance the level of intercultural dialogue, using the Earth Charter as their ethical framework. They will then have a month where they will work together virtually to plan and create their projects. Stage Two

Dates : 1st to 6th May 2012
Location : Alexandria, Egypt

Stage two will take place in May in Alexandria, Egypt, where the participants will meet each other and be able to present their projects, as well as continue the intercultural dialogue they started online. More participants and organizations will be accepted to participate in this session as well as have the opportunity to engage in face-to-face networking. During the 2nd stage there will be a fair for NGO and youth initiatives from the Euro-Arab region who are interested in intercultural dialogue and are able to represent their work and future projects by providing a live platform for Networking .

1st day : Arrival day and opening ceremony

2nd day : Presentations by the participants groups from the first stage on their inter-cultural projects and discussion on how they will be implemented.

3rd and 4th day : Initiatives and NGO Fair where they can present their projects and we can provide a platform for all civil society activists from all over Euro-Arab region to interact with each other.

5th day : Discussion about the endorsement of a new Euro-Arab youth relations framework for the empowerment and cooperation among youth organizations and underline the need and importance regular Coordination Meetings on euro Arab organizations

6th day : Press Release and closing ceremony.


**Full cost of Accommodation during 2nd stage in Alexandria,Egypt will be covered

- Age range: 18-25 years old

1-بناء جسور الثقة والتفاهم المتبادل بين المشاركين للقضاء على التحيز والتمييز

2-إصلاح وإعادة تشكيل الإطار للعلاقة القائمة بين الشباب العربي - الاوروبي

3-تثقيف وتدريب وتحفيز أجيال الشباب إلى المشاركة الفعالة وإجراءات ملموسة للمواطنة

4-بناء سياسات إقليمية لشباب والدعوة إلى وضع جدول أعمال شباب أقوى

5-ايجاد طرق غير رسمية مشتركة عند التعامل مع حل الصراعات.

6-تطوير معارفة قوية في قضايا الشباب وتطوير المهارات القيادية للقيادات الشابة
هيكل المنتدى

المرحلة الأولى

المرحلة الأولى سوف تجري عبر الإنترنت من خلال منصة إلكترونية "اِيرث تشارتر الدولية" التي ستوفر مسافة تفاعلية خلاقة ومبتكرة للمشاركين للعمل معا.

سوف تتألف المرحلة الأولى من 4 دورات مرة واحدة في كل أسبوع لمدة ساعتين وتاريخ البدء المتوقع هو 28 فبراير 2012.

عدد المشاركين: 15 الأوروبين و 15 من الشبان العرب

الموضوعات التي سيتم بحثها خلال المرحلة الأولى
1-قدرة الشباب على تحمل القيادة
2-الحوار بين الثقافات | اختصاص التواصل بين الثقافات
3-السبل المستدامة للمعيشة
4-التخطيط لمشاريع مستدامة للعمل

خلال الجلسة الختامية على الإنترنت، سيتم تقسيم المشاركين إلى 5 مجموعات وسيحتوي كل مجموعة 6 شباب من بلدان مختلفة (البلدان الأوروبية والعربية) وسوف تكون انتدابهم للعمل معا، لإنشاء مشروع متعدد الثقافات التي يمكن تنفيذها ضمن سياقاتها بهدف تحسين مستوى الحوار بين الثقافات، باستخدام "ميثاق الأرض" كالإطار الأخلاقي.

ثم سيعملون معا لمدة شهر على تخطيط وإنشاء مشاريعهم


المرحلة الثانية

التواريخ: 1 إلى6 مايو
الموقع: الإسكندرية، مصر

سوف تعقد المرحلة الثانية في شهر مايو في الإسكندرية بمصر، حيث المشاركون يلتقوي بعضهم البعض ويتمكنوا من عرض مشاريعهم، فضلا عن مواصلة الحوار الثقافي الذي بدأ على الإنترنت.

سيتم قبول المزيد من المشاركين والمنظمات المشاركة في هذه الدورة، وكذلك فرصة للدخول في التواصل وجها لوجه.

خلال المرحلة الثانية سيكون هناك معرض لمبادرات منظمات الحكومية والشباب من المنطقة الأوروبية-العربية االمهتمة بالحوار بين الثقافات، والتي تستطيع أن تُمثل أعمالهم والمشاريع المستقبلية بتوفير منابر حية للربط الشبكي.

اليوم الأول: يوم وصول وحفل الافتتاح

اليوم الثاني: العروض التقديمية بمجموعات المشاركين من المرحلة الأولى عن مشاريعها بين الثقافات ومناقشة كيف يتم تنفيذها.

اليوم الثالث والرابع: معرض للمبادرات والمنظمات حيث أنها يمكن أن تقدم مشاريعها ويمكننا توفير منبر لنشطاء المجتمع المدني كافة من جميع أنحاء المنطقة الأوروبية-العربية للتفاعل مع بعضهم البعض.

اليوم الخامس: مناقشة حول إقرار إطار جديد لعلاقات الشباب الأوروبي-العربي للتمكين والتعاون فيما بين المنظمات الشبابية، ونؤكد على ضرورة وأهمية "اجتماعات التنسيق" المنتظمة على المنظمات العربية و الاوروبية

اليوم السادس: الصحافة والحفل الختامي.
وسوف يغطي التكلفة الكاملة للإقامة خلال المرحلة الثانية في الإسكندرية، مصر
** 70 في المائة نقل يتم رد الرسوم.

معايير انضمام الافراد

-سن 18-25 سنة
-تملك القدرة على التحدث بالإنجليزية.
-من لديهم الاهتمام بمعرفة الثقافات الأخرى.
