A Type of Magic is a design studio based in Mississauga, on the outskirts of Toronto. We have done work for clients both within and outside Canada—including the United States, the UK, Australia, Bahrain, Dubai and India. Our core business revolves around publishing. We design and develop print publications (magazines, books, corporate literature) as well as websites and e-zines. That includes gene
rating original content, editing, headline-writing and layout. We are also heavily involved in virtually all aspects of advertising and marketing, ranging from corporate identity and branding to copywriting, print and web campaigns, social media pages and email blasts. Our clients include corporations - both large and small - as well as advertising and marketing agencies. We have worked on campaigns for Sephora, Harlequin, UPS, CVS Pharmacy, Costco, American Express, Samsung Electronics, Zenith, Trillium Health Partners and Electronic Arts, among many others. Our work has appeared in major publications, including People, MORE, Publishers Weekly, First for Women, Health Magazine, Justine, Girls Life and Booklist.
