Sometimes you just need a mental health day. Spending my day off at my favorite spot doing a little writing this Friday. Take some time for yourself today and do something you love to do. 💕

It has been a hot minute since I’ve written anything. I’ve had a lot of life things happening since NaNo, but those should be coming to an end this month. So I headed to my favorite writing spot this morning to check back with my characters. I’ve missed them! 🖤🎀

Finally hit the 50k mark! I still need to upload to the NaNo website to be official, but I did it! I still have a long way to go with the book, but it is a start. Woo Hoo!✨

Almost there! Only a little over 1k until I hit 50k! Woo Hoo!✨

Not much time today because of Black Friday shopping, so this is today’s and yesterday’s totals. ✨

Hit 40k! And just in time for Thanksgiving! ✨

Still plugging along and getting ready for a long Thanksgiving weekend! ✨

Not a great day today. Battling a migraine, so a smaller word count but still a little word count. ✍️

Made a bigger dent in my word count today! I’m hoping to get close to the 50k by the end of the week. I should have a lot of time for writing this short work week! ✍️

Finally made it over the 30k mark! ✍️

So close to the 30k mark. Ready to make up some ground this weekend! ✍️

Just under the 25k mark. I’ll hit that tomorrow. Hoping to make a bigger dent on my word count this weekend.

Still plugging along. I can tell I’m going to need to write 80k or more words to finish my book, but for NaNo I’ll stick with my 50k mark.

Had a good day today and made it well over the 20k mark!

I missed taking a pic yesterday, but I’m inching closer to the 20k mark! I’ll definitely hit it tomorrow.

Over the 15k mark! Ready to hit the next milestone of 20k.

Just beat today’s word goal and wrote a pivotal beginning scene!

Thanks to the time change I’m getting a jump start on my writing today! And I’m back writing at my favorite Starbucks. 🙌🏻

Day 2 NaNoWriMo and I’m over the 4k mark!

Just a little shy of 3k. Day 1 of NaNoWriMo was a success!

Starting with a completely blank slate today! My Scrivener template is all ready to go. And I’m off. . . ✍️
