Skulls and Sawdust

I am excited to say that for the first time I will be offering a special monthly puzzle for the year of 2023. Each month will feature a different image only available that month. What makes this more exciting is that I get to do this in collaboration with one of my good friends, Skulls and Sawdust.

These puzzles will be 300 pieces and handcrafted out of wood, made locally in Latham, NY.

Well, here’s something different that I was asked to make. A custom fit mailbox in this beast of a structure(I did not set the stone).
Made a birch plywood box for the inside, then used some sapele for the face frame and doors. It was pretty difficult to scribe the frame so it would fit within the edges of the rock face.
The numbers are UV resistant acrylic with stand-offs to elevate the white and to help keep the whole thing off the rock. These are 16” square!

Debuting some new items at the Harvest Fair this weekend!
First up are magnetic knife stands! These are loaded up with ridiculously strong rare earth magnets to hold even a heavy cleaver. The main wood is held off the base with flame painted copper to give it juuuust a bit of extra flair.
