When you try to find wholeness in a relationship, you are putting an unnecessary expectation on your spouse. Being single is a blessing and a time where you can discover who you are so that when the time comes for your singleness to be over, you are already whole in yourself and don't need your partner to fulfill that void in you.
Marriage is about joy, love and fulfillment but so is singleness and both phases should be enjoyed!
