My husband I have been through some of the deepest valleys in the last 10 years with the struggles of infertility and going through what is almost 4 years now of grieving for our twin daughters, Chloe and Grace, who were stillborn at 24 weeks. Yet through all this, and even whilst we wait in hope for a brother or sister for our very much loved firstborns, I have an ever growing passion to reach out and help others with their fertility.
Discovering a new path
Unfortunately we know what it feels like to face disappointment month after month. Initially this was for over 4 years trying to conceive, trying many methods and having tests which revealed no way forward. Like so many others the doctors and consultants put us in a seemingly hopeless and lonely category known as 'unexplained infertility'. The only option given to us was icsi (an ivf method) which we found to be painful and heart breaking.
We were so immensely happy to have discovered a new path that gave us hope and felt right both spiritually and ethically. We learnt to use a system known as the Creighton Model System FertilityCare which enabled us to conceive for the first time naturally within a year and our NaproTechnology Consultant (the programme has a medical element to it) made sure I had the much needed progesterone hormone support throughout my pregnancy. Though our babies, Chloe and Grace, are not here for me to hold, they were our miracles. Without a doubt I would not have had the amazing privilege of carrying two beautiful daughters if we hadn't made that decision to follow this path.
We wholeheartedly believe in this system. So much so that I trained for over two years (fully qualifying in June 2020) to become a FertilityCare Practitioner so I can compassionately teach it to others and support them on their journey.
So what do I teach and how could this help you or someone you know?
I teach the Creighton Model FertilityCare System; a scientifically proven, effective & ethical method of charting and understanding your fertility. It is consistent with biblical teaching, being firmly based on a respect for human life, human dignity and the integrity of marriage.
The system can customised for your needs and whether you are learning for your health or wanting to achieve pregnancy, whether you have long, short or irregular cycles, or are pre-menopausal, I will teach you to how to know if you are fertile or infertile on any given day in your cycle.
I will help you know what is normal or abnormal in your cycle and identify bio markers that may show the need for further tests, investigation or treatment. If this is the case I can refer you to a NaproTechnology Consultant who can work with you to naturally restore your cycles to how they should be.
When using the system to achieve; selecting the most fertile days alone has a high success rate of helping you to conceive (98% effective within 6 cycles of normal fertility). Couples struggling with infertility can expect a success rate of between 20% and 40% within the first year with no NaPro help. With NaPro help this can be up to 80% depending on a number of factors such as age and diagnosis (note that the best IVF success rate in the UK is for the under 35 age range at around 30%).
Please feel free to call me on 07793 350882 or email me at [email protected] to book an introductory session or for an initial confidential chat to see how I may be able to help you with your situation. For those in the Grantham/Nottingham area I can teach in person but being outside of this area is no problem as we can meet face to face over skype.
Blessings
