So that’s a wrap!
We say goodbye to Tizzit and our six operations there.
Scimitar 6 was held this weekend and it ended with the JTF and Tizzit Loyalist Army landing some heavy blows on Phoenix as mercenary occupiers.
We won’t miss the flies and the dust, and that was just coming from Josh.
January sees us in Alaska for Op Kraken, a new American based cold-war style drama, set in modern times.
Time for a change to cold weather clothing !

Operation Scimitar 6 on 12/13 October will be our last game of 2024.

Gunman Airsoft, our principal, have taken over the management of an existing site near Bourne in Lincolnshire.
It is envisaged that this will become an Okto Eight venue in 2025 and would become our most northerly site, complimenting the established locations in Hants, Kent and Suffolk.

Operation Scimitar 6 will be held at Fawkham Kent in mid October.
We are very excited to be going back there as we played the premiere pilot Scimitar game there back in 2021 in the first Scimitar series.
We commenced the second series this year and are currently 2/4 games in.

Just an update from the flight deck.
We've been busy in the Okto Eight community.
We’ve put Scimitar 4 and 5 successfully behind us!
They were in fact, very different games within the Tizzit/North African campaign.
We still have S6 and S7 planned for 2024, with 6 hopefully in October and 7 in December.
We have introduced Blue Force Tracking for all factions and have command and control elements in place for the player teams.
We have also made some tweaks to our body hit rules which makes for an even better game dynamic.
Furthermore, our OktoEightMilsim website has been updated too.😎
We appreciate that it’s holiday season now but we look forward to seeing you on the field at the end of the summer.

We are conscious that this time of year gets hyped up and everywhere you look, other people and media tell you it’s obligatory to have a good time.
You‘ve got to buy lots of presents, spend lots of money, have the best Christmas lights, etc.
Sometimes that’s not so easy to achieve and you feel like you’ve failed. Creates a lot of problems for people, on top of an already difficult year.
Reality check - what this time of year is about is not bling and excess. Take time to focus on taking care of yourself. Recharge your internal LiPo’s, take time to heal. Don’t over reach.
Above all, be nice. Most around you are struggling, despite the show. A nice word, a good deed, a smile, goes a long way.
Above all, keep the faith, look after yourself and those around you. Spread the love.
We look forward to seeing you in the new year.

Who remembers the first foray into Tizzit in 2021?
Things have since changed there.
Almuhktar is on his deathbed. His son is a simpering idiot and not fit to rule his father’s occupied territories.
Mason Granger, head of Phoenix Securities fancies himself as the new Caliph and has gone into megalomaniac mode.

Our Story

Total immersion is the watchword and Okto Eight engage their clients months before the action begins, with news reports and intelligence, building up to an action packed climax.
Join in now, leave your day job and stress behind and become somebody else for a while. Take on the mantle of a organised crime operative , Private Military Contractor or a member of the Special Forces.
This is a sixteen hour weekend Military Simulation game consisting of two eight-hour, daylight-based combat patrols where you will be immersed in an ongoing fictional war between the Good guys and the Bad guys set in different locations around the world.
Despite the 8-hour game period each day, this is not a skirmish and full military simulation rules will apply.
With three events per year, the next game is never far away...
