Test fit. The Alfa Romeo rear seat fits like a glove!
Another small work. I drilled Some big holes in a ‘flywheel house cover’ that was laying in the garage for years. It will give the 1380cc MINI engine a more of a serious ‘racer’ look. Just drilling some holes is no big deal, I know... But it has worked out fine and it will look pretty awesome I think! I blasted it with soda. Soda doesn’t harm the surface to much. Then I Painted the cover in engine enamel (RAL 9016) wich is just aluminium silver. It’s was a simple job, I know. Drilling, blasting and painting... Quick result. But sure an eye catcher when you open the bonnet!
Made a bit of a ‘switch panel’ for the Mini. I started with the switch pod set from But honestly I messed the plastic box they deliver a bit up So I decided to make one myself in aluminium. It’s way more solid and it does match with the ‘works’ dash that I’m making. A small bit of the project. But it sure is an eye catcher! It took a bit of time to make it and finish it to my standards But hey, It’s my passion and I don’t mind. I’m pleased with the result and that is what counts!
In need for some attention & love..

The front suspension. The brake components are provided by Kent Auto Developments - KAD and the rods as well. Protech shocks and some alloy bits from DSN Classics to finish of the suspension job. So the suspension is Fully adjustable and all parts are new.
After a year and a few months of hard work and patience it's back on it's wheels! I'm very glad with the result so far!
The rear suspension (fast Road spec.)is on point. Al new (Some of them uprated) parts are used. (Bearings, bolts, nuts, washers,...) an anti roll bar and camber brackets by Kent Auto Developments - KAD were installed as well.
A glimps of the wetsand and polishing result!
