Pi Kappa Alpha - UC San Diego, Kappa Phi Chapter - www.ucsdpike.org - www.instagram.com/rush_pike As our motto states, “Once a PIKE, always a PIKE.”
The Kappa Phi Chapter was founded almost two decades ago by a group of men who were not satisfied with the status quo. As a result of their desire to maximize their individual potentials, these men formed the Kappa Phi Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity on November 7, 1997. We, the men of Pi Kappa Alpha, come from different and diverse backgrounds, yet we are all bound by very

Our moustaches are a reminder to pay attention to our own health and start the conversation with others. UCSD Pike want to help change the face of men’s health by encouraging each other to talk about personal and family medical history, promote being physically active and increase awareness of the health problems that commonly affect men.

The Kappa Phi Chapter here at UCSD mourns the passing of Brother Gabriel Masri. Brother Masri entered Chapter Eternal this past week. A member of the Beta Xi Pledge Class, Brother Masri was initiated in spring 2015 and graduated the following year. He was selfless and compassionate, a man who we are all proud to call our Brother. Our sincerest condolences are with his family and friends in this time of mourning. Rest In Peace. Forever in the bonds.

Huge shoutout to our brother Leonardo Mercenari who managed to raise $10,000 for 4 families that were affected by the recent earthquake in Mexico and all our brothers who've helped him reach his goal. Last summer, Leo had the chance to travel to Mexico to build a home in a community of extreme poverty. Good work and phi phi.
Congrats to brothers Tyler Bird and Jacen Yergenson for completing the annual 5K. As our philanthropic partner, the San Diego Fire & Rescue Foundation helps provide enhanced training, equipment, and technology for our local heroes.
Dropping in-to rush week like Brother Grant Crawford did when he visited Witch's Rock in Costs Rica. 4 more days! Let the countdown begin. Rush schedule posted tomorrow @ Tamarindo, Costa Rica
Great win to our men's soccer team and shoutout to our brother Ulysses for the golden goal!
We take great pride in having over 50 current and former collegiate athletes in our chapter from last year. @ San Diego, California
This one time at Spring Formal in Vegas...
Huge congrats to our brother and current IFC President Tyler Bird for competing in the prestigious Manhattan Beach Open this last week. Keep showing off those pillars! @ Manhattan Beach, California
Joining this fraternity is more than just a college decision. Generations of great men have come through just like our brother Grant Amerson and his father Dave Amerson, a member of the Eta Sigma chapter at University of West Georgia (1978-82) and current President and CEO of Neotract.
Whether it's golfing in Hawaii, interning in China, hiking in Oregon or climbing in San Diego, we always follow our ethical principle, pursuit of excellence.
As members of Pike, we use summer as an opportunity to travel, study abroad, or uphold the "A" in SLAG. Here are just some of the memories we can look back on from our summer this far.
A big shoutout to brother Ari Wayne who played for the Maccabi USA team in the 20th Maccabi Games in Israel! He helped team USA get to the bronze medal match and finished as the second leading scorer on the team. Way to hold up our true pillars.
Final goodbye to our senior graduates. Good luck out there in the real world boys. We know you'll kill it!
From,
The Gentlemen of UCSD Pi Kappa Alpha
Whether we need to win every Spring quarter sport, come up from a 95 point deficit, or have a miracle happen, we treat every practice, play, and game as if it’s our last. This year, not only did we overcome all odds, but we did it with the magnitude of our Brotherhood. Nevertheless, we cannot be more proud to be a member of Pi Kappa Alpha with another Softball Championship and IFC Sports Banner under our belt. Thank you to everyone who came out, we truly appreciate all the support each and every game.
Thank you Anna Bryan for exceeding our expectations as our Dreamgirl. We cannot express our gratitude enough but we hope our serenade on Friday came close. With that being said, you will always be the Dreamgirl of Pi Kappa Alpha.

Two years ago, we started UCSD Pike's 1st Annual Firefighter's Challenge to donate money to the San Diego Fire Department. We cannot stress how much this means to us, the firefighters, and the county of San Diego. Join us in this amazing cause!
