What does the summer solstice meaning spiritually in 2024?
In 2024, the summer solstice will take place as much of the U.S. is under a national heat advisory. This means that the longest day of the year will also be one of the hottest days for many. And that may make it harder to appreciate some of the spiritual aspects of the celestial event, which the Explore Deeply blog says can be celebrated several different ways, including:
Creating a spiral
Making a mandala
Lighting a sacred fire
Making a prayer tree or stick.
No matter how you choose (or choose not to) celebrate the summer solstice, just remember that for some people this is a very important part of the year that holds great spiritual significance, and there are those who will be very invested in making sure they get a chance to bask in the sun's glow and ask for illumination, good fortune, and harvest blessings during the day.

According to Skye Alexander, author of The Kitchen Witch, cinnamon can be particularly useful to “spark career success or attract financial gain, especially if you’ve been stuck in a rut for a while.” Metaphorically, when we see the first of the month, it represents a new chapter or period of time. So, if we are hoping to start a new chapter with abundance, doing the ritual on the first of the month simply amplifies the intention of starting anew. If that day aligns with the new moon even better, because as the moon’s light grows, so will your abundance. 🤍

Today is our final day at Mayfair at Cedar Crest College - it has been such an honor to meet and speak with so many of you. I can't wait to close out the weekend today starting at 12:00!.

I'm lovingly calling the last weekend in April SPOOK WEEKEND for Witchletoe. We have two shows booked that we are SO excited about back-to-back on Saturday April 27th and Sunday April 28th at two venues we know and love. April 27th is Around the Cauldron, coordinated by The Dark Parlour in York PA, and April 28th is StrangeFest at the Ritz Theater in Scranton, PA hosted by The Strange and Unusual. AND, Spook Weekend launches us into May, the busiest Witchletoe has ever been, with opportunities every single weekend to see your favorite witch!! Come see our new products (bookmarks?? corsages for prom???? woot woot!) and see your favorite witchy team at one of our Spook Weekend events 🖤
