Hi everyone.... it has been a while, but I really wanted to reach out to all of my old clients and friends who were following Carma K9s Stylist & Groomer

It has been a long and hard year, but I wanted to let you all know I am well and settled in beautiful Kerikeri, New Zealand, overlooking the majestic Opito Bay.

I have only been here a couple of months and done some seriously hard times, but that is life and here I still am.

I am now running a small salon from home again and have some amazing new clients and dogs... so many dogs to choose from.

The lead up to Christmas is always super busy and nothing is different here. I now have two more days off before I am back to it.

Angel is well and still in Albany with beautiful Liz Landers and her Molly. I am blessed.

Paying it forward, I am looking after an old dog while her mum visits family in South Africa.

We had a super chilled day today, sitting on the back deck, taking a walk through our bush block and listening to the birds. We even have Kiwi birds in the garden...

Hi Everyone! Happy New Year :)
Well you did it, got through a tough year, but I must tell all my local lovelies, Albany is Nirvana compared to whats going on outside the state...
I have been interviewing new clients and taking your advice to work smarter not harder. To embrace what I love and run with it...
Things are coming along slowly at the new salon, but the plumber is now booked in for the 18th January so I can see to some of the larger dogs in need.
I would love for some of you to post on my new page Chateau de Chiens and give a review, a little blurb and a photo just to get some interest this end on why you and/or your pup loved coming to Carma K9s.
I miss you all and especially miss my special cuddles and antics from a few who shall remain nameless lol

The bruising on my face has gone but its still sore, sadly my neck and shoulder are still not right and another xray in store tomorrow.
Take care of yourselves, love your babies, be patient and kind to other and remember its not all just about us, its about everyone coming through this with a smile, hope and finding the joy in the little things that we can do, still have etc., its all about how we choose to view things and making the most of it....

Hi Everyone, just wanted to let you all know I am ok. Sorry its been a while. I survived MIQ, although I did break my face literally getting out of the coach at the quarantine facility. Im now in Opito Bay Kerikeri until the 6 Jan in a bnb. Then on a couch I think until I move into a tiny wee small shed, lol not joking guys there are literally no rentals up here and especially that will accept a pet and under $600 p/w for 1 bedroom. The salon is coming along nicely. Yesterday I used my first cement grinder to take the floor back to raw. Painting, plumbing and electrics.... waiting to install the new bath and spa and of course for NZ Customs to release all of my things from port. My new little car is brilliant, black of course and a Toyota Hybrid Noah. A doggy mover. which is great as yesterday I paid $120 for 41 litres of fuel. oh yeah, feeling that...
The weather here is like Nepal.... 24ish with 100% humidity. Im being a good girl and eating properly.
Angel is with Peter and waiting patiently for mummy to make some cash and bring her home. I have 17 dogs booked for a Meet and Greet next week and pray they will all convert into grooms as soon as the room is ready to go.... i hope its like falling off a bike? Been out of action for a while now.
I miss all my furry faces and some clean ones too :) I have a slide show on my pc with all my fav pics and my heart does a little jump. I am so grateful for the little messages and photos I have been getting, thank you. I hope you are all booked in for christmas and not freaking your new groomers out too much? Remember its their holidays too eh ;) Love to hear from you if you get time.
