With the advent of new technology, Signpainters have becomed an endangered species. Fewer and fewer has been spoted lately.
If you see one, be kind to him, buy him a lunch and a beer.
Wondering if you can post this on behalf of our friend and sign painter Judy Grossman. Dear Friends, Family, Colleges. My Friends have started a campaign to help me and my family.
Our friend, Artist Judy Grossman, has had a life changing medical event that has left her paraplegic. She has been in and out of hospitals and care facilities for almost a year. In January of 2023 Judy finally was able to move into a private home of a friend. While this transition is mostly positive, it also has left Judy and Dean needing a lot of help.
The goal is to raise $100,000 to pay for
The big three:
1. Purchase of a motorized wheelchair accessible van so she can easily get to out-of-county specialist appointments and travel more freely without constraints of local transport companies.
2. Purchase of a motorized wheelchair, giving her increased independence within the home and around town
3. Financial help to continue visits by caregivers, providing Judy the ability to remain at home as she continues to build her strength and giving Dean much needed rest and caregiving assistance.
We have started a fundraiser with Help Hope Live. Help Hope Live was chosen in part because they assure fiscal accountability of funds raised and tax deductibility for contributors. Contributors can be sure donations will be used to pay or reimburse medical and related expenses. To make a tax-deductible donation to this fundraising campaign, click on the Give button here. https://helphopelive.org/campaign/21898/
Judy has brought the beauty, joy, and colors of the rainbow to our community. Please read her story on the campaign page. When you see this on social media please “share” her story often and with as many people as you can.
“The goal is large but the need is great.”
Thanks in advance for your time and support.
