Nothing can beat our indigenous strength and their knowledge. Be it rain, sun or disaster, they always come back together..
More power and strength to them.

We only have pride and respect for the hardwork you all are putting on the war foot zone.

This is on the other side of Dzongu, Sangklang- Chaday.

With shattered village and home, people at Gnon Sangdong have all come together with strength and braveness to build themselves up. Restoration of electricity and log bridge work been done. The saddest part is that people here have no time to mourn the loss.
However, grateful that no human casualty occurred.

Being built in small villages of Gnon-Sangdong in Dzongu, North Sikkim, India a Lepcha reserve, ' sungsalee ' is a testament to the collective power of our community taking ownership for our stories and identity to live on through our voices! The museum ecosystem which ties together with responsible tourism initiatives for this sensititve region, is being physically built, driven, and sustained by us. From monetary donations to sourcing and carrying materials through the forest to providing sustenance to every volunteer who joins in– the collective initiatives, no matter how small or big, are helping realise sungsalee .

But there's still a long way to go for the project to reach completion!

We now accept the fact that learning is a lifelong process of keeping abreast of change. And the most pressing task is to teach people how to learn.

The greatest asset of an individual is the knowledge you have and the knowledge you impart. We are taking inspiration of one another and learning is getting bigger and better.

It is said that "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so". MLAS, Dzongu is conducting homestay training in Dzongu with the support of SIDBI.
And having the opportunity to learn from the already existing homestays in Lingthem is making, learning more fruitful and memorable.
