I wanted to share my experience switching to a natural dishwasher powder. There is most definitely a learning curve and its one worth figuring out and not giving up. 👏 Because... chemicals. Ugh. ☠️
You could try it and not have any issues so don't let this intimidate you. Apparently, "water" is different depending on where you live. Have you heard of "soft" or "hard" water? And, throw in what type of dishwasher you have. The new ones are more "energy efficient" and use less water and less heating for drying the dishes. It's been a process to switch out toxic stuff (Cascade - yuck) from my kitchen and this dishwasher powder situation was no joke. lol I almost threw in the towel! It's taken me 3 months to figure it out. 😂
But, here is the trick I learned from a sweet friend. Add Citric Acid. BINGO! 😂 My dishes are perfect and don't have a white-ish covered film. I use 1/2 scoop dishwasher powder and 1/2 scoop citric acid. Now, if I can figure out "Jet Dry". My dishes are not "dry" like they used to be but heck, it beats having that chemical stuff all over my dishes. 👎 I can take a dish towel and dry them myself. That's not too hard to have CLEAN, chemical-free dishes, huh? 😎 When did we become so spoiled? 🧐 .
It's been a slow process but I am slowly getting the nasties out of my house. And, it feels good.

My story

Those points back ADD UP quickly! I’ve already cashed in over $200 worth of free stuff just in the short time I’ve been on this program. I am a firm believer that a lot of the things we’ve used for years and years are killing us slowly. Look at your labels and educate yourself. Download the “Think Dirty” app and the “Healthy Living” app. You can scan your products and see how they rate. So many things have the word FRAGRANCE in the ingredients. If you see that word, I suggest you search for a better product. A ton of synthetic chemicals can hide under that one word. It’s very sad how misleading our products have become and it explains why there is SO.MUCH.SICKNESS in the world. If you think wellness is expensive, try sickness.
