Jungalow vibes mixed with 'The Jens Bench' + a vintage Moroccan rug + a few pops from Portland's beloved . PS. There's no way I could keep all these plants alive in my own home.

Layering in vintage makes everything better. πŸ€ŽπŸ™ŒπŸΌ We love incorporating family heirlooms and sourcing unique vintage pieces to complete our designs. Vintage brings that extra layer of uniqueness; each piece always has a good story worth sharing...and worth asking about.

It's clear the vibe of this home in just a few snaps, which was precisely the goal. πŸ’ƒπŸ» This young family of 5 wanted their traditional home to feel fresh, funky and uniquely California-cool. πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ€πŸΎ

Our design philosophy is function first, aesthetics second. πŸ€β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹β€‹This kitchen is a balancing act of design meeting function. πŸ‘ŒπŸΌπŸ€“πŸ˜Ž

βœ”οΈ The work-station sink pairs with an un-lacquered brass statement faucet.
βœ”οΈMarble is utilized as a stunning backsplash, with simple quartz on the counters for maximum durability.
βœ”οΈFloating shelves are paired with hyper-organized kitchen cabinets (utensil drawer!).
βœ”οΈThe marble spice shelf is both functional and creates a beautiful design moment.
βœ”οΈ A vintage rug for their inherent durability and for that little moment of charm.

Entering the last few months of the year, and 9 months into our family’s cross-country move, here’s what I know: There’s no growth in your comfort zone. 🌱
There’s no comfort in your growth zone. πŸ’₯

Each quarter, I take a moment for personal and business review; to pause, evaluate, pivot and celebrate.

Risk πŸ‘‰πŸΌ Opportunity πŸ‘‰πŸΌ Clarity = Growth
Risk πŸ‘‰πŸΌ β€˜Failure’ πŸ‘‰πŸΌ Clarity = Growth.

Both routes are good. Both routes are hard. 🍾🍾🍾

study time ✏️ 🍎 πŸ€“ It's always a balance designing kids space's when they change so quickly (πŸ₯ΉπŸ˜). Investing in timeless, well-made pieces that can grow with them is a top priority in our designs.

✏️ back-to-school vibes, post summer-vibes πŸ’¦ We designed this XL mudroom as a multi-functional space. It's a drop-zone entrance from the garage with a hidden coat closet, and backyard access from the pool. πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

welcoming our new routine and a new season πŸ‘‹πŸΌπŸ’₯we whooped it up together this summer in Greenwich. Our afternoons were filled with the beach, pool and summer vibes. πŸ’¦ β˜€οΈ πŸ‰

As an entrepreneur, the ability to have this choice of *time* is something I have strived for in my work-life balance. Did it mean late nights, juggling schedules and working during nap times? Yes. But, this is a season I want to be present for.

Welcoming a more structured routine, embracing the change and feeling grateful for the past season.

A cozy spot next to the kitchen for the kids or guests to hang while someone else makes dinner (it’s me...you don’t want me cooking, but I’m great at serving drinks 😝).

5 YEARS in BIZπŸ’₯✨ πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ₯Ή 5 years ago I quit my corporate job for my 30th birthday to leap into the world of entrepreneurship and back to my roots of interior design. πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ’₯

What’s my biggest reflection on the journey over the last 5 years?

Being present for *life* is my biggest success. For creating a business with boundaries that fuels my passions AND my life.

Through the birth of our baby, to my mother’s eventual terminal diagnosis and her last three years with us, to moving across the country with my family in pursuit of adventure + opportunity…I’ve chosen β€œYES” to showing up for myself, my people and my clients.

β€œBig” projects, press, photo shoots and revenue goals are fulfilling (and not achieving these is always a learning); but, nothing beats going to sleep knowing I’ve been able to put in my all, in all areas of my life.

πŸ“Έ 2018-2023

Next 5 years: GROWTH 🌱 Let’s go. ✨πŸ’₯

A space with soft edges, durable materials & room to roam make this family room welcoming and functional, without compromising style.

We believe in the age old saying β€œdon’t save anything for a special occasion, every day is a special occasion.” In other words, don’t wait until the kids are older to make your home what you dream it do be. Find the balance for your current season of life. βœ¨βš‘οΈπŸ‘ŠπŸΌ

School vibes ✏️ ➑️ Pool Vibes πŸ’¦ This large multi-use space needed to function as a drop-zone for everyday use, as a pool drop-zone, and as guest access to the bathroom. βœ”οΈ βœ”οΈ βœ”οΈ

We designed an open slat wall to provide division between the mudroom and pool room to designate these areas while keeping the space feeling open and light-flooded. We incorporated a bench for the daily shoe on/off spot and ample adjacent storage for just about everything else.
