Layering in vintage makes everything better. π€ππΌ ββββββββββββββββββWe love incorporating family heirlooms and sourcing unique vintage pieces to complete our designs. Vintage brings that extra layer of uniqueness; each piece always has a good story worth sharing...and worth asking about.

It's clear the vibe of this home in just a few snaps, which was precisely the goal. ππ» ββββββββββββββββββThis young family of 5 wanted their traditional home to feel fresh, funky and uniquely California-cool. ππΌπ€πΎ

Our design philosophy is function first, aesthetics second. π€ββββββββββββββββββThis kitchen is a balancing act of design meeting function. ππΌπ€π
βοΈ The work-station sink pairs with an un-lacquered brass statement faucet.
βοΈMarble is utilized as a stunning backsplash, with simple quartz on the counters for maximum durability.
βοΈFloating shelves are paired with hyper-organized kitchen cabinets (utensil drawer!).
βοΈThe marble spice shelf is both functional and creates a beautiful design moment.
βοΈ A vintage rug for their inherent durability and for that little moment of charm.

As an entrepreneur, the ability to have this choice of *time* is something I have strived for in my work-life balance. Did it mean late nights, juggling schedules and working during nap times? Yes. But, this is a season I want to be present for.
Welcoming a more structured routine, embracing the change and feeling grateful for the past season.

5 YEARS in BIZπ₯β¨ ππΌπ₯Ή ββββββββββββββββββ5 years ago I quit my corporate job for my 30th birthday to leap into the world of entrepreneurship and back to my roots of interior design. ππΌπ₯
Whatβs my biggest reflection on the journey over the last 5 years?
Being present for *life* is my biggest success. For creating a business with boundaries that fuels my passions AND my life.
Through the birth of our baby, to my motherβs eventual terminal diagnosis and her last three years with us, to moving across the country with my family in pursuit of adventure + opportunityβ¦Iβve chosen βYESβ to showing up for myself, my people and my clients.
βBigβ projects, press, photo shoots and revenue goals are fulfilling (and not achieving these is always a learning); but, nothing beats going to sleep knowing Iβve been able to put in my all, in all areas of my life.
