Isaac Whorton for Circuit Judge

I want to take a minute to thank the citizens of the 5th Judicial Circuit for your vote of confidence in me in 2018 to be one of your Circuit Court Judges. I have learned an awful lot since that time and I have worked with some wonderful attorneys and support staff. We have worked hard to overcome the difficulties forced on us by Covid and fewer court dates and we have tried to be efficient and fair in everything we do.
I have been informed tonight that I will be running unopposed during the next election cycle! I am humbled by this vote of confidence from our 5th circuit attorneys and I look forward to continuing to work with all of you. I want to thank Cathy Askew Dabbs and Phyllis Stephens Simpler for all of your direction and advice....raising a baby judge can't be easy! Thank you both for your patience and selflessness and thank you to my fellow judges for your hard work making the tough decisions. I am honored to serve with you for our community.
