We had a contest in our classroom for the best turkey disguise. All of the students did a great job disguising their turkeys. Zander and Kelci were our winners! 🦃

We enjoyed our field trip to Huber's Orchard today!

This week we are reading about Johnny Appleseed. We had to taste test several kinds of apples to see which was our favorite. The yellow apples won, but I really think it was the caramel we dipped them in. ☺

We made apple puppets to go along with our story this week!

The top spellers this week!

The kiddos made s'mores today to go along with our story in Reading this week! We discussed things they could take on a camping trip and of course they needed marshmallows, Graham crackers, and chocolate. They said the treat was awesome!

We will be taking a field trip to Huber's Orchard on September 21st. I will be sending home permission slips tomorrow with the kiddos.
