Our friends at the Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families coalition (a campaign that includes our Trusted Non-Profit partners like Breast Cancer Fund and Healthy Child Healthy World) will be streaming the HBO documentary Toxic Hot Seat from their website December 1-7. The documentary tells the story about toxic flame retardants commonly found in our couches and children's products, and the movement that shifted the market away from these hazardous chemicals. No one should ever have to compromise their health in the name of beauty. The United States has NOT passed a federal law to regulate the ingredients used in personal care products since 1938!
