Our partnership aims to leverage our unique expertise and networks to provide comprehensive support to our target populations. We are seeking a graduate or medical student willing to spend ~2 hrs per week overseeing our finance and business administration.

Some specific responsibilities include:
- Manage our business debit card account and track transactions (occasional, only 2-3 per month)
- File our non-profit taxes once per year in February (it takes only about an hour)
- Track our donations and assist the Executive Director with fundraising
- Assist other team members with purchasing, reimbursements, etc.

We are looking for someone with some experience in finance and business, but no expertise is required; training will be provided. Project SHORT is run entirely by student volunteers, led by a student Executive Director, and overseen by a Board of Directors composed of senior faculty members. The new director will join an amazing team of passionate and dedicated student volunteers.

We're hiring for a Co-Director of Pre-Health Mentorship!

Project SHORT is seeking a health professional (MD, DO, MD/PhD) student able to dedicate approximately 3 hours per week overseeing the pre-health mentee-mentor matching process.

Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing new mentee and mentor applications
- Responding to mentee and mentor inquiries
- Maintaining our automated matching software workflows
- Communicating with the Project SHORT executive board, particularly other members of the pre-health team, to coordinate pre-health events and evaluation

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years remaining in their professional program and prior mentorship experience, preferably within Project SHORT. Training on the automated matching system will be provided.

Responsibilities include:
- Developing and sending the annual mentor and mentee feedback survey
- Analyzing survey responses into a cohesive program improvement plan
- Communicating with the Project SHORT executive board, particularly other members of the pre-health team, to coordinate pre-health events and evaluation

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years remaining in their professional program and prior mentorship experience, preferably within Project SHORT. Prior quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis experience is preferred.

Providing constructive criticism: whether with personal statements or other application materials
Being responsible: holding a position of power it is your duty to be professional
Having empathy: being understanding and knowing where your mentee is coming from
Communicating and listening: replying to your mentee appropriately and promptly with a listening ear
