What I'm all about.. EDUCATION
Sarah Schu is a photojournalism graduate of Temple University.
Her formal education focused on visual story telling through the use of still photographs, videos, publication design and the written word. While at Temple University Sarah was the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions. During her senior year she was awarded a CARAS grant, which aided her travel to Germany to complete a documentary project. EXPERIENCE
Sarah has had photos published in pape
rs such as The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Northeast Times, and The Fishtown Star. She has also had her work published The Temple Times, The Temple News, Hyphen Literary Magazine, 14th Street and other print and online magazines. While at Temple University she interned at The Philadelphia Inquirer and 215magazine. Sarah has also worked in a wet darkroom and digital photography lab. She was also employed by the bITS program where she instructed a photography class for Philadelphia teens. INSPIRATION
Sarah is always looking up, down and around for new inspiration. She enjoys traveling because it offers her a new perspective on human environment and the ways in which we all interact and react to our surroundings. She is constantly searching for new photography projects and new ways to execute them. She encourages her clients to search for their own inspiration as well in order to collaborate and make the best possible pictures together. AT THE MOMENT
Sarah is currently living in North Carolina and working as a freelance photographer.
