Clémence est aujourd'hui à la tête de cette exploitation authentique.

Un domaine qui propose des armagnacs avec des profils différents.

A l'unanimité leur millésime 1986 nous a conquis. Un Bas-Armagnac AOC 100% Baco assez sombre, que ce soit de par sa couleur ou son profil.

Un boisé marqué mais élégant, du chocolat amer, du camphre et des fruits secs. Une belle puissance aromatique ainsi qu'une belle longueur lui permettront de terminer n'importe quel repas ou d'accompagner un beau feu de cheminée. Il paraît que c'est l'été pourtant!

An estate that offers Armagnacs with different profiles.

Their 1986 vintage unanimously won us over. A Bas-Armagnac AOC 100% Baco that is quite dark, whether due to its color or its profile.

A marked but elegant woodiness, bitter chocolate, camphor and dried fruits. A beautiful aromatic power as well as a nice length will allow it to finish any meal or to accompany a beautiful fireplace. It seems that it's summer though!

Notre Savanna 21 mois.
Une couleur or clair pour ce jeune rhum de mélasse vieilli en fut de Sauternes de chez .

La particularité de leurs fûts? Leurs Sauternes sont vieillis 2 ans en barrique. Pour eviter que ces derniers n'apporttent trop de tanins au nectar, ce sont des fûts chauffe vapeur qui sont utilisés!

L'intérêt est le même ici.
En plus d'utiliser un fût qui a été en contact plus longtemps que d'habitude avec un Sauternes de qualité, il apporte peu de tannins tout en enrichissant le profil déja fruité de notre rhum; un blend Traditionnel et Grand Arôme de chez .

Our Savanna 21 months.
A light gold color for this young molasses rum aged in Sauternes barrels from .

The particularity of their barrels? Their Sauternes are aged for 2 years in barrels. To prevent the latter from adding too much tannin to the nectar, steam-heated barrels are used!

The interest is the same here.
In addition to using a barrel that has been in contact with a quality Sauternes for a longer time than usual, it adds few tannins while enriching the already fruity profile of our rum; a Traditional and Grand Arôme blend from .

On ne sort pas un, mais 2 Armagnacs !

Cette fois-ci c'est chez que nous nous sommes rendus en équipe.

A la recherche d'un p'tit jeune des années 90/début 2000 on se retrouve avec un 50 ans et plus en bouteille.
Sachez que c'est totalement indépendant de notre volonté !

Mais voilà une fois dans le verre c'était simplement impossible d'envisager embouteiller autre chose.
Vincent, chef de la maison nous dit qu'il a autre chose à nous faire goûter ... et vu qu'il faut toujours goûter... vous connaissez la suite !

Une version retravaillée du premier 50 ans qui était en fait son embouteillage officiel. Et ça nous plaisait encore plus!

Hop c'est en bouteille.

Un armagnac de 50 ans (mais avec une belle part de 1962!) gourmand, complexe avec un nez qui nous a conquis dès la première seconde servi par et nous-même.

We're not releasing one, but two Armagnacs!

This time we went to with the whole team.

Looking for a little young one from the 90s/early 2000s we end up with a 50+ year old in the bottle.
Please know that this is completely beyond our control!

But once in the glass it was simply impossible to consider bottling anything else.
Vincent, chief of the house, tells us that he has something else for us to taste... and since we always have to taste... you know the rest!

A reworked version of the first 50 year old which was in fact its official bottling. And we liked it even more!

Hop it's in a bottle.

A 50 year old Armagnac (but with a nice portion of 1962!) gourmet, complex with a nose that won us over from the first second served by and ourselves.

Absolutely, it's visiting the cellars and chatting with people.
Their stories are always entertaining and they love to share it.
Oh and i forgot, tasting those barrels while doing it rocks !

Our cognac Pasquet PC lot 85 is already bottled! Waiting for the labels to be printed and everything should be ready for the last week of june.

With 2 guys from Reunion Island, we had to find a nice rum. This youngster, 100% molasses, is a blended rum from ! A mix between a traditionnel Rum and a grand arôme.
Aged in a sauternes cask from the great , prepare yourself for a fruit salad !
