Dear Barbie, 26/08/2015

Another key for pelvic floor health is our foot function. This is a good write up in a really funny way, on what to do if you have been wearing high heels a lot and the damage it has done to your feel. http://www.katysays.com/dear-barbie/

Dear Barbie, Dear Barbie,Posted on June 12, 2015 by Katy • 22 CommentsDear Barbie, I was very excited to hear that, after 56 years, you are getting ankle joints and will finally be able to wear flats. Abstracts and Presentations - WPT 2015 24/08/2015

Back from my holidays and I find this little gem of new research about hypopresives!

"AHG was capable to activate accessory respiratory muscles in the orthostatic, sitting and supine postures. Thus, this technique possibly improves the process of pulmonary ventilation, without interfering in the respiratory rate.

Implications: These results seem to be very promising, since it demonstrates any mobilization of lung volume without interfering the duration of respiratory cycles. Therefore, as a future perspective, AHG should be useful as an adjunctive therapy in the treatment of patients with obstructive lung dissesse and others."

Look at this foto of the INVOLUNTARY contraction of the core during a hypopresive exercise! http://hypopresives.com/hypopresives/what-a-reflex-contraction-with-the-hypopresive-techniques-looks-like

What a reflex contraction with the Hypopresive Techniques looks like : Hypopresive Techniques As you already know the Hypopresive Exercises create a reflex contraction of the pelvic floor and abdominal wall.
