Thank you Santino for checking on me after my first match and for praying for me to get back my energy for my last 3 matches, reminding me that I need to give my best for God’s glory no matter what my physical or mental state was. Why solas? The 5 Solas of the reformation summarize what I believe.
Sola Fide - faith alone
Sola Gratia - grace alone
Sola Scriptura - scripture alone
Solus Christus - in Christ alone
Soli Deo Gloria - to the glory of God alone
Last month, I had to leave Atos Philippines for matters of truth and conviction. I love Atos sooo much and I will always be grateful to everyone that has helped me throughout my 11years with them especially my professors and all my teammates and training partners that have shaped my jiujitsu, but it was not in accordance with the Lord’s will that I continue to grow with them. It was one of the toughest decisions I had to make and I went through a lot over the past months but I trust completely in the Lord and I promise to continue to bring honor to His name through His gift of jiujitsu that I have the privilege of using for His glory.
I don’t have an academy just yet. All I have is this vision of a team that will serve as salt and light to the jiujitsu community. You don’t have to be a Christian to be part of this team but my promise is to give all the love and support I can possibly give which flows from the love of Christ. 💗☝🏼

Bronze in the JJAU Asian Championship 2024 last week. 🥉
It’s been quite a journey and it’s difficult for me to put in the right words to describe it all. This may not be the result we desire but it is His will and I trust completely in His wisdom in allowing it. The Lord’s worthiness of praise does not change, whatever the result or the circumstance, and so I will praise Him at all times. I will continue to fight for His glory as long as it is what He wants me to do.

It’s been a busy but blessed month with Pans, camp at and everything else in between. Been through highs and lows but what matters most is that the Lord has been present through all of it. Grateful to everyone that’s been part of it! ❤️
Psalm 95:1–2 (LSB): 1 Oh come, let us sing for joy to Yahweh,
Let us make a loud shout to the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving,
Let us make a loud shout to Him with songs of praise.
//2024 IBJJF Pan American Championships//
To worship the Lord, to give my best for His glory was my primary intent for this competition and continues to be my reason why I’m still in this sport. My heart was filled with joy knowing that this was what the Lord wanted me to do in that moment and that’s what I tried my best to do for Him.☝🏼
The result was not what we’d hoped for, but this has lit up a fire in me to get better and put in the work to get to the level we need to be in to place at the highest level of competition.

Happy International Women’s Day!! 💜
In celebration of women’s month, is launching a 3-session free trial for our Women’s classes held on Saturdays 1:30pm.
To all the women interested to try Jiujitsu in an all-women setting, mark your calendars for March 16, 23 and 30. Women beginners can come for FREE!
Come and start your jiujitsu journey with us! 💜🥋
My heart is filled with joy seeing how these four brothers brought glory to the name of the Lord last Saturday! Clearly He is at work for the sake of His name and His glory, and last Saturday was a testament of His faithfulness in all circumstances. Despite facing struggles and limits, we did the best we can and He pulled us through.
Congratulations to the DLZ bros for their performance at the Asean International Jiujitsu Championship! Both Javier and Fernando got gold in their divisions, and Vito got gold in his division and open weight. Their eldest brother Santino stood as a coach and leader to his younger brothers.
We started off the year with their commitment to the path to become world champions, and the past 2 months have been about equipping them for this. It’s been a journey of discovering each one’s jiujitsu, and it’s amazing seeing how they are forming their own styles and games. For this comp, the specific goal was to test aspects of their game that they’ve been working on, some of which they did so for the first time. I’m very happy with their performance and growth! There are still many adjustments that need to be made but these kids are definitely on the right path.
Thank you to their super solid support system, their family .rdlz for supporting their dreams and doing everything possible to make sure their needs are met in their journey as athletes. Thank you to their strength and conditioning coach for all the solid work that allowed them to be in the best physical shape possible for optimal performance and to the rest of the Falcon Camp for bringing joy in the midst of the hard training. Thank you to all their training partners at and beyond for helping them prepare for the competition and coach for supporting them as well on competition day.
Congratulations as well to all competitors from Atos Philippines who competed last Saturday!
I praise and thank You, Lord that you allow us this privilege to do jiujitsu with one common purpose: to worship You and bring glory to Your name. All praise, honor and glory belong to You, Lord!
