First and last soy ice cream that I found in Japan. Really expected to find these everywhere and didn’t bother with a proper photo. Unfortunately this was it. Maybe next time.

Plants make people happy! 😀
Your everyday actions can help limit the threats that orangutans face, even if you’re on the other side of the world from the rainforests where orangutans live. Make small changes in your day to conserve natural resources. Save Earth.

Visiting Favourite Vegan bakery to gorge on their impressive menu of baked goods. Perfect for a quick breakfast run.
Spent $75 at a Korean market and this is all we ended up with. This is the most ridiculously expensive country we lived in as vegans. On the other hand, if we opted for processed, unhealthy food it would be significantly cheaper. Fruits and vegetables imported or produced in Korea are extremely expensive including locally grown seasonal fruits.
The sausage was very tasty but the burger was just okay. The presentation was beautiful and the drinks were delicious.

A bowl of rice with mixed vegetables for lunch. What are your favourite veggies to add to your veggie bowl?
Found vegan healthy mayo in a supermarket. Now thinking of the recipes I can try this with. Can’t wait to come home and experiment!
Korean savoury pancake is one of the popular dishes. It is usually not vegan but the owner made us a vegan version.
I was surprised to see that some of the dishes were served in metal bowls. It turns out that it’s very popular to see cold dishes served in them in eateries and restaurants across Korea. They say that cold dishes always taste and feel better in stainless steel bowls.
The history behind this is that the Joseon kings were very worried about their security and that they could be poisoned. So they insisted on tasting their food by the servants first using silver chopsticks and bowls. If there was poison the silver would tarnish.
Ordering vegan lunch in one of the shopping malls in Thailand. The dishes we’ve tried were so good and flavourful, that we went back to try some more.
Having an Indian meal in South Korea.
Many Indian dishes are naturally vegetarian, so making vegan versions is very easy with a few ingredient substitutions.
Sri Lanka has an abundance of Bananas. They come in different shapes, colours, sizes, textures and flavours. I was lucky enough to try 7 of them, but in total, there are about 29 types of bananas available there. Amazing right?

Back in time when I was 25 harvesting vegetables and fruits at my parents' summerhouse.
Plums are one of my top list fruits. They are a very nutritious fruit which is an excellent source of vitamins, minerals, fibre and antioxidants. Plums are especially rich in anthocyanins, the protective compounds responsible for the plum’s dark coloured skin. It's also packed with anti-inflammatory properties.

Today is American Eagle Day.
Let us all help in preserving the American Eagle's natural habitat by decreasing deforestation driven by animal agriculture.

Peaches are not only delicious, but they are also rich in nutrients and health benefits. One of the health benefits of peaches I love is that they improve digestion because of their high dietary fibre content.

Vegan bibimbap served with popular Korean stew – Soondubu Jjigae (Korean Spicy Soft Tofu Stew) vegan version. It was a refreshing, delicious and very comforting stew. We had this at an underground metro station in Busan. The lady was aware of vegan food and kindly made us the stew without fish. It’s very rare to find kimchi without fish/shrimp.
I don’t know the name of this particular Thai street food, but it's nuts!
Vegans don’t go hungry in Thailand. You can find the freshest and tastiest healthy snacks on every corner.

In London, you can find so many different types and colours of mushrooms.
Mushrooms are undoubtedly versatile. I love adding them to my dishes, especially when I make stir-fried recipes.

Strong With Plants!
Thriving on a 100% plant-based diet and disproving the age old myth about needing animal protein to be healthy. It is afterall the main “reason” for people to not go vegan.
The founder of the brand was told by her family that she’d become ill and weak when she became vegan. Strong With Plants started as a response to that. To motivate oneself into being strong on a 100% plant based diet (& vegan lifestyle).
