ive had the opportunity of playing with Ryota twice. as an artist and performer, ill never forget the feats of terrifying energy and joy and anger that he would achieve when performing as LOVESPREAD. as a fellow human, ryota was the kindest, most welcoming dude with such a genuine love and respect for the DIY scene. im still in shock at the news, i’m still waiting for this to sink in.
my heart goes out to narumi and the machida family.
rest in peace my man.
